After all, the more time Bungie doesn't have to worry about the Beta's servers, the more time they can put into making it one hell of a kickass game for retail. So, back on topic, I've got a little something for you to heal up the gash from the end of the Reach Beta. Think of it as a weak ointment, because this too is only a beta. The difference is that you won't have to wait four and a half months to play the full version of our game though. You'll be able to play the beta right up until the full version (build 1.0) is released. Because this is only the beta, I won't be going with too many pictures for the installation guide. And if you need help with installing, you'll have to visit the social group for this project. Us grey members don't deserve our own sub-forums. Installation Guide: So first, you're going to need WinRAR archiver, which can be downloaded by conveniently clicking on this very phrase. If you already have it, [jumpto=winraryes]click here.[/jumpto] [aname=winraryes]Once[/aname] you have WinRAR installed, you'll need to download the client package. Download the client in .rar format here. Now open up WinRAR and open the .rar file you just downloaded. Extract it to wherever you wish. Once you extract it, go to the place you extracted to. You should see a folder (client), three applications, and a readme document. First, run each of the applications. (NOTE: If you downloaded and played Fbu's FH:RPG on the same computer you are on now, you do not need to complete this step.) After that, go into the client folder and find the file that says The Other FH RPG (BETA). Open that. Click on the Settings tab, and make sure the ip reads fhrpg.servegame.com and that the port is 4000. Click save settings if you had to change the IP or Port. After that, go back to the main menu, create an account, and log in. You're good to go. To report bugs, if a moderator isn't online, simply click the dropdown box and set it to map. Then in the text box type "/bug bug_name bug_description", replacing bug_name and bug_description. Make sure to have underscores for spaces, but not between /bug and bug_name or between bug_name and bug_description. Questions? Go to the social group or post them below.

It depends on your computer type so I linked the page with all of the different downloads. You go there and click one thing, not that big of a deal. Also, your money will carry over but your ranks will be reset.
So it doesn't work for mac? Or am I missing something? Edit: I wonder if it'll work with crossover...

Hey guys, I set up my static IP and forwarded the necessary port, so I need someone to see if it works. Change the IP in settings to fhrpg.servegame.com and let me know if you can access the game. Yes. It is.
