    My first photoshop tutorial *blush*
Fbu gave me the idea(and how to do it xD), and I am going to explain more in depth than "add a gradient and clipping mask".

    Step 1.
So we have our signature, or something. Add a border of any color to the sides by using whatever method you want (I use the Single column/row marquee tool)

    Step 2.
We have a border ayayay. Make a new layer on top of the border layer, and select the gradient tool.

    Step 3.
Click... up there and a window will appear, and click anywhere on the bottom line to create a stop.

    Step 4.
We have all of our stops now, so change the color of each one by clicking on the color box and make sure that the stop on the furthest right has full transparency.

    Step 5.
Close the window and drag the gradient tool from one side to another (hold shift to make a straight line).

    Step 6.
Now create a clipping mask by right clicking on the Gradient layer.

    Final Product
    COLORED BORDER AYAYAYAY

    Now go thank Fbu.

I suppose for the peeps without Photoshop, make a box in MS Word, no fill and the colour of the line as a gradient colour, then put it on top of your sig. But thats a differant story lol

Meh, Fbu's explanation had a bit more detail and was easier to follow, but I guess your tut is OK.

Kidding, nice tut. Pretty simple topic, but still nice.
