My XBOX is broken (E74), and several people have suggested I look in eBay for a new one. I don't use eBay or anything like it, so I'm not sure of myself at all. I searched for console only Xbox's that haven't been refurbished. I was looking at one of this guy's 360's, which was discounted to $50 (with $12 shipping, "Buy It Now") because it "acts up every once in awhile" (it "froze once or twice and the drive sometimes sticks but everything still works," so it has no returns or refunds). As with all of his consoles, "It has a 12v fan mod and the Xclamps have been removed to decrease the chance for the RROD error." I would just link you to the page, but the listing ended several minutes ago. Of course, he'll probably just put it back up, so whatever. Or there's this one, which doesn't have nearly as much information. It's an auction that ends at 4:36pm PST. From what I can assume, it is not modded or anything, and there are no problems with it, but I don't know. The seller doesn't seem nearly as trustworthy as the one above. Other than that, I was just looking at Craiglist, which, of course, I've never used before. I don't really know what I'm doing with that. Here are a few I could try looking at (although I haven't called the sellers yet or anything like that): 1 ($100 "works 100% no problems at all) 2 ($70, "the drive gets stuck once in a while ") 3 ($70, unknown condition) 4 ($80, "great working condition") 5 ($90, "brand new," HDMI, Jasper, 256mB) 6 ($90, "brand new," HDMI, Jasper, 512mB)
No sir I have not. It's okay though. I think I'm just going to go to a guy my friend recommended to me who should be able to fix it himself.
Ok, that'll be better anyways. Lockerz takes months anyways lol. What it is is a site where you earn points for watching videos, then you redeem ****... takes hellah long!
And the videos are all like 5 minutes long, and have ads before, during, and after... BEFORE you get your points... By typing in the Captcha. Gayest thing ever.
SRC, I think that borders on advertising. Anyways, just buy a whole new arcade. Keep your HD and stuff, don't risk buying a piece of crap and wasting all your money.
I almost did the arcade thing, that's what my friends do. They're actually very cheap. I'm not advertising as I didn't try and persuade him or post a link... just suggesting a way if he doesn't have cash to pay for repairs.
Just buy an arcade at walmart or gamestop for $100 its brand new and all you do is put on your harddrive to it..transfer the license of the xboxes to your new arcade and BAM! saves you money and future RRoD's
I just bought a new arcade. If there in stock, the current arcade bundle is 200$ and comes with 2 games and 2 controlers. If moneys a problem, you can just sell the games, cables, and controlers back or something.
