Nice map but the post wasn't very informative. I don't have much to say because of this but the map looks very great. Extremely large, smooth banks and this looks like the best battletrack on Avalanche i've ever seen to be honest. Very good job Ace, i'm always looking forward to your next map
Very smooth map. Not that long, but there's not a lot to work with on Avalanche. LOS is limited to what is immediately in front of you, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Overall, it's a pretty basic map, but it's one that will get played a lot and remain on my hdd for a long time.
Like Rogue said, it was simple but nice. Pretty short but I can understand with the objects that are given, it is pretty tough to make it even 20 seconds. Wondering how it plays for bt because I didn't see too many lines of sight. Also, I thought the start was a little too small. It looked like you had single boxes left, maybe you could have used those somehow. Anyways, the track was good and enjoyable.
The mongooses are not on instant respawn. This will be a big problem if you have anymore than six people in the party. Other than that, it was decent. I like the ark of some of the banks. It was fun but short. The spawn was very small and seemed like it was thrown together at the last second. Good but not nearly as fun as Silicon.
Yeah....I love this map, the transition from sky to terrain and back is fantastic. The track itself is very smooth and has a nice flow to it if you know what I mean. I agree with the first comment though, I can see you spend a good amount of time on the post but you need to give a detailed description of the track just so it will attract a few more people. That's my opinion if you want more views and downloads. But other than that, great job on the track and can't wait for your next.
RiioT's Official Map Reviewing Service Heres what I think of your map: Your map is very smooth and architecturally great in my opinion. The spawn is a little cooped up when trying to get out. And the starting point is bumpy at first but gets better toward the end. The first switch of terrain of the map makes it not appeal that you put much effort into it. Considering that you used the default map and just put a few guides to tell you where you're going. So that makes a few minor bumps and rough spots in the map. And when you go back to the forged objects, it seems that you have to make a really tight turn to prevent from falling off the track. And a very well placement of shield doors. Very well made hill and turn. But the finish line is cheatable and you can fall off if you don't have enough speed. Ok, so lets go over some pros and cons of the map. Pros: - Smooth - Very well designed - Good weapon placement - Good equipment placement - Nice shield door placements - Great map in general Cons: - Cooped up spawn area - Mongoose's not set to instant respawn - Bumpy at first - Change to terrain - Finish line cheatable - To much overpowering weapons/equipment - Short map Overall Rating: 4.6 Thank You note: Well AceOfSpades, thanks for letting me review your map, I have enjoyed it dearly. You do know that you dont have to use the ghost merge glitch? In a land far far away in a ancient time there was no such thing as ghost merging but another glitch was used that achieved the same effect. Anyway back on topic, This is an extremely fun racetrack that has lots of fun and challenging twists and turns. I havent yet had the chance to play this with a full party but i have had a few good races on it!
