As far as I know from my Psychology Class it's a kind of Psychosis (endogene Psychose, I can't find a translation), people who suffer from it have multible personalities, paranoia and **** like that
Good question, seems to have absolutely nothing to do with the video. Anyway, epic double kill. I was like counting the time between the first kill and second kill. I was like, that's like 10 seconds! WTF?! Then I looked at the the HUD to see what happened, realised you missed killing the first guy and blew up a guy near the blue plasma coil things. Epic accidental double =P
You can't see the second guy who got killed, so I thought the guy who got, must have a split personality, so he counts as two people ... I'm so super funny I know, now I'm going to log out and be ashamed of myself
I got it LD, but then again i do study psychology and have a terrible sense of humour. yeah it must have been the plasma coils on the wall, you hit them when trying to shoot the red guy.
If you watch in theater, he killed the guy in front of him just as someone else the game thought he had damaged jumped off the edge. He hit the death barrier and gave him a kill right as he got his with the BR. Amazing timing if you ask me.... He DID NOT blow him up with the power cores, since they exploded afterwards and the double he got was simultaneous.
The power core explosion animation often comes after the kill due to connection (notice the slight delay on the plasma nade throws at the start indicating a less than perfect connection), I've had it happen quite a few times. It doesn't even have to be particularly laggy, the explosion animation just seems really crap timing-wise. However, I haven't looked through it in theatre so didn't see the extra guy you're talking about, obviously I'm not saying you're wrong since you looked and saw it. Just wanted to clarify that such explosion animations are less than reliable even at the best of times.
This doesn't make sense because 1: You never hit the Cron or what ever guy that the game says your team mate killed and 2: you were far beyond 4 seconds for it to count as a double. My only thought on how it happened was your team mate killed the first dude...he was respawning while you were killing the second dude...the first dude respawns on the ramp by the fusion coils you shoot the fusion coils it deals enough damage to the respawning dude and he accidently falls off...you kill the 2nd dude with your br and the first dude falls off at the same time giving you a double?
Except there would have been a delay. The death barrier is so far down on Narrows that if what you said had happened, he probably wouldn't even have gotten a double kill. Here's how it all went down. The first guy his teammate killed respawned next to the power cores. He then tried to jump down to the ramp below the power cores, missed, and fell off the map. When this guy hit the death barrier, it gave RaBBiiTTT a kill just as he BR's the other guy. Why it gave RaBBiiTTT the kill remains out of my knowledge, because after he killed the first guy, that guy respawned never came into contact with RaBBiiTTT, and then fell off the edge. Just to clarify, nobody was anywhere near the power cores when or before they exploded. Hope that helped, I should have explained in more detail the first time.
Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Share First slot if you want some angles on it. My teammate killed the first guy, not me. I didn't even touch him I really appreciate all your theories, guys. Hopefully, you guys may better understand what happened if you download the clip.
