Hi, I'm Firetag and this is my first map post. Please do not flame(constructive criticism only).

Please Note: There will not be a map thread on bungie .net. The reason for this is because my windows live ID doesn't work and support can't seem to help me. If you feel that you like my maps enough then contact me and we'll talk about letting you post my maps on bungie for me.

    Map Facts:
    • Most compatible with infection.
    • Took about eight hours to make.
    • And most of all very fun to play!

What Game Type Settings do I play on?
Well, I have found that the following game type settings work the best on the map. But, feel free to change things around and experiment with your own Game Type Settings.

    Download Gametype
    Download Map

    Structure of the Map:
There is one centralized base for the humans. Below the base is a maze. The zombies spawn in the maze and there are two entrances (screen's below). The zombies have to find there way through the maze and try to infiltrate the humans base.

How do I think I did on the Map?
I believe I have succeeded in what I wanted the overall appearance of the map to be. The map runs and plays very smooth. Weapons and spawns are very balanced. The map is extremely well blocked in. I also believe I have achieved and succeeded in making an overall fun map to play.

    Some Screen's:

    Example of the maze system.

Get to the top! (Also one entrance to the base)

Inside the base. (Another entrance to the far lower left)

A very very very long hallway.

    Open Area.

    Flamethrower Spawn.

Well, thanks for checking out the map. I hope everyone has fun playing it. Please feel free to contact me if you find any problems while playing the map or if you have any suggestions or tips on thread making and/or forging.

    Hmm..
Interesting map. I like the use of the panorama on the first picture.
You may want to interlock some objects to have things fit a bit better on
future maps. Would hope to download later.

Thanks for the comment. And about the interlocking I did use some interlocking, but only where I needed to. Such as on the step up to the base on the ramp... I interlocked two bridges to make it much smoother. But, thank-you and I am looking forward to your download.

I appreciatr the concept of a curved map like this, but it would have helped a lot to fix thos crooked walls and such

Ahh I see what you guys mean the walls on the bridges are quite sloppy. But, if I would have interlocked them it would have taken more objects. I used the unlimited budget glitch so it would have been to much over budget to make it totally clean. But it is smooth to walk on, so I am happy with the appearance of the map.

Do the cracks affect gameplay? The humans could just use the cracks to shoot the zombies, but I don't think it will have much effect.

Exactly the cracks do not effect game play at all it just doesn't look smooth like I said.

Looks pretty fun zombie maps are made for fun not detail but it would help to make everything smoother even if it doesnt affect gameplay.

Here and there, it's a bit crooked and could used some interlocked floor, but other than that, it looks pretty good.

It looks like it would make a decent 1-Flag CTF and 1 Bomb Assault aswell.

thanks for the comments everyone...I guess I'll have to make a version two because everyone wants the eye candy, and I will have to add assualt and ctf to it.....never thought of that.

Nice necropost. *reported* Next time, check to make sure you are posting in a thread that's within the date post limit. Besides, look when the map is made...interlocking wasn't a high priority then. I also have came to think that you spam posted. All you told him to do was "interlock."

Back to OP. At the time this map was made, I would've thought it was an amazing map, but seeing how there's many maps that are extremely amazing, I suggest you make a v2 with more improvements. If you want to go learn about the "improvements" I am talking about, check out the "Forging 101" section.

its good but sloppy smoothing things out can only help. another small problem is lack of cover. i only see a few barriers wich could frustrate people who are zombies ecspecially if theres only one at start. its solid
