Finally downloaded at nearly 8pm and it just simply won't work. It says server loading or something and it has for the last 30minutes.... Why o why couldn't Bungie bring this thing out earlier so I had more time... Irresponsible...
Yeah, occasionally that glitches. I've played 2 matches, it's an epic game. Also, the credits you earn can be spent on different customizable armour, however they didn't say, different armour gives different bonuses. E.g., the first shoulders you probably get give a cloak bonus. One problem - Noticeable lagg. However they've covered up the lagg, and it's just a slight cloned image, no lagg glitching.
Not true. Bungie has said time and again that they focus on balanced gameplay within their multiplayer. Just because the description of the armor says it does something special, doesn't make it true. The description's insignificant.
The beta says that it is unable to get information from the Halo: Reach server and to try again later. I think that to many people are downloading it or trying to play it. edit: Never mind, the beta is working now.
This. There are so many people querying the server at once that it's overloading it. Just chill out and wait or do something else. Complaining won't help.
Bungie announced the bungie.net that the servers are getting overloaded and their sorting out the problem...if it crashes its because its overloading...so settle their fixing it.
Hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of people are playing the beta right now. The Halo Reach server simply can't handle it.
yeah haha and they took halo 2 and old battle field off online to help and it still overloaded. I don't remember but did halo 3 beta explode the server like this????
They also said that they expected 3 million people to play the beta. This was said very early on, and if they anticipated this, why wouldn't they act on it? I'm starting to blame the LIVE service myself. It's failed us on all the things that are most popularly downloaded. Examples : Halo 3 Beta, MW2 stimulus package, Facebook, they haven't even cut off the halo 2 original support properly yet, and that's meant to be saving them money. And now this. And there is MILLIONS of people, all paying $60 / £40 per year to upkeep this service, and they have failed us each time. I don't even expect natal is going to be any good myself. On another note, the 3 games I played were awesome.
