    The Blocks
    Wraith Attack

    Description:
The basic idea behind this mini game is that you spawn on one of twenty blocks that are magically floating above a very unforgiving floor. You can feel free to jump where ever you please just don't touch the floor or you may die. You may also want to note that there is a wraith with some sort of vendetta against you and your friends, and he also has a cannon which he is cleared to use against you. The blocks you are standing on are no match to the wraiths strength so your timing and luck need to be in order to keep up with your changing surroundings. Every thirty seconds a custom will appear that will give you lower gravity for fifteen seconds. Also at thirty seconds into the round four pallets will spawn in the center of the map, it only takes two shots to break them, but feel free to use them. Try and survive until the two minutes or die as the last man standing, either way have fun.

    Backround:
Well the origional idea for this map was made by gunnergrunt, it involved a ghost pushing the blocks that sat on the actual floor in attempt to get people to fall on the ground and die. That didn't work very well so gunnergrunt brought me into the works to help figure out what to do with the map and it soon evolved into a warthog attempting to do the same job. The warthog worked fine in completing this task but it tended to take very long and usually ended up with the warthog getting stuck on top of a block. I'm not sure when it happened but someone brought up the idea of moving the blocks to the grid above the floor and I started to run with it until it eventually turned into what you see now(the benefits of rigorous testing).

    Humans:
    -Don't touch the ground
    -Jump, often

    Zombie:
    -Get in your wraith
    -Use your boost
    -Fire your cannon
    -Repeat

    Things to note:
    -the blocks move
    -Wraith CAN shoot
    -The floor will kill you
    -Pallets spawn at thirty seconds
-custom power gives you low gravity for fifteen seconds (spawns every thirty seconds)
-A killball spawns inside the wraith room when the doors close at thirty seconds
    -There are six rounds

    Got it?

Haha, I was just checking the forums to see if you had posted this yet. This is one of the best survival-type mini-games I've played to date on sandbox. The concept is simple, but very well executed, and I think you may have even gotten lucky on how awesome the gameplay turned out to be. Out of the numerous games I played on this, there never really seemed to be any problems with the infected being too overpowered, or the humans being able to survive too easily. For the most part it was very balanced with the humans lasting quite a while, but not always surviving the round. And so this makes for yet another very awesome collaborative effort from Gunnergrunt and Ell3ment, and another reserved spot on my hard drive. Great job guys.

There's still the problem of people hitting the ground and surviving it. Certain spots on the map tend to not kill the humans when they touch it.

    Other than, great map.

I didn't really see it as a problem, I think it makes it more fun since you may or may not be able to do it.

I cant tell if your a troll, or just have bad grammar.

On topic, I'm glad to see the maps finally posted. I'm interested in the Warthog changing into a Wraith, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out. I"ll post back with my game results.

Finarry. Hella fun game dudes, I had a great time testing it. The floating blocks make you say whoah, and then a wraith struts in through some ominous gateway which seals itself up afterwards, and then you're like...woah. Basically this game has a heck of a wow factor which contributes towards its replayability. Nicely done, sirs.

Thanks metal, It sure has gone through a lot of changes since it started as a warthog version. I believe that this ended up to be quite the crowd favorite as far as this batch of my latest mini games. Although I fairly sure most people are just waiting for reach to be released.

Wow, great idea. Truly creative. I would like to know how you thought of the idea, or what inspired the idea. it seems like something you just think up one day and have to try out to see if it works.

Also question for the gameplay- do the blocks float over the wraith, or does the wraith just push them out of the way by boosting?

The blocks float on the grid and are easily moved by the touch of the wraith. They do not move when he shoots but definately a better tactic to try and combine boost, air brake, and firing your cannon.
