Description: Here is my first post here on ForgeHub, Shipyard. It is a (partly) symmetrical map with two bases on either side. The object is to steal the flag, avoid everyone, and score at howe, in your own "office". There are two snipers on this map, two machine gun turrets, one plasma cannon, several brute shots, two shottys, and a plethora of other weapons. looks pretty good but I think you should put some of the weapons/grenades etc. that are on the ground either at the same spot from both places or make them symetrical
I do, it's just that this is my first map, and I'd like to see what the community thinks before I go all merge crazy.
Here's what I think: Go merge crazy. Interlocking is a big plus. Your map here is nice, simple, but that's all I see. Interlocking lets you see the world.

It looks pretty creative, but it's kinda messy with all the teleporters blocking the way out and the placement of fusion coils and all that.
And another tip, screenshots are best taken after a custom game. You can be by yourself or with actual gameplay, but it looks much more impressive without all of the respawn points

How is this a shipyard, there are no cranes to load/unload ships, it is simply two bases with overwhelming amounts of clutter in the middle
No... I totally disagree. Showing the Respawn Points helps people know how good the placement is. Also, you should've definitely interlocked. Slacking is not an option! You would've been more likely to have gotten noticed if you interlocked the whole map amazingly, than if you put **** sitting next to each other and call it a map.
The map layout is great but i have some constructive critisim. first you heard this allready you should really take the time to merge and interlock. it will make the playing much more smoother and will make the map look alot better, it will also give you more space and objects. Second your going to want to ease up on the vechicles and weaponds . in the one picture alone i saw a gravity hammer a brute shot 2 plasma nades 2 spike nades a warthog and a mongoose. yo ushould reallly spread them out and take away few. other then that your ideas are great, keep forging, we all learn as we go on. you will too.
