    Manor of Doom

well guys this is my map i'd like to call Manor of doom, its a big manor and i think its rlly awesome. I ghostmerged a lot and its different then many other house maps let me explain why:

-The gameplay is split all across the house (you can get on the roof after 120 secs) so ppl dont only camp on the roof.
-Theres also enough cover for the zombies in front of the house (which i think is pretty important to give the zombies any chance of survival.
-There are barrels and wirespools which you can push down the stairs, they dont block off the whole staircase so zombies can still pass.
-There are atleast 3 ways to get to each floor.(so people dont camp at the stairs or something)

This map can be used with different kinds of gametypes, aslong as the zombies have 50 or 75% gravity and the humans dont have a shield. Because the low gravity causes the zombies to reach up certain places on the map and without shields humans cant nade-jump to the roof ;)

This is an overview of the whole map.

    Front-view of the manor

    Livingroom (on the 1st floor)
Kitchen (also on the 1st floor)
Painting (2nd floor) a shotgun is hidden behind it, dont let your friends know!:p
    [IMG]
Wirespools and barrels can be pushed down the stairs (see still enough room for the zombies to get past)
    Bedroom (2nd floor)
    A small hallway (2nd floor)
This is the roof where you can get after 120 seconds (coulndt take a better picture cuz its too high ;))
    Front-view roof

    Picture-Time!(Zombies)
one out of the two symmetrycal zombie spawns
    [IMG]
The cannonman spawns after 180 seconds (under this fence are the starting points for the humans btw ;))
In front of the house lies enough cover!
This is why zombies do need a little reduced gravity (this way you can get on the roof without needing a cannonman! suprise ppl on the 2nd floor from above)

    Picture-Time!(action shots)(only 2, might upload more if wanted ;))

Well this is my map hope you like it :)

looks awsome and well forged.good job its hard to make this good a map on foundary but may i suggest a version on sandbox so that you can make more details and that way you would be able to jump while on roof.

To start off this is a pretty nice little idea you got here.
    Nice little map so far.
I'm going to give you a few suggestions, not rants.
When posting a zombie map, try to describe the games type.
Whats the zombies health, movement speed etc.
    Same for the humans.
I know there's probably not a gametype for this map, just saying for future post.

Also with the forging, I know I use to hate hearing it, but if you take the time an interlock the floors, and everything, makes the game play a whole lot smoother.

I hope to see a V.2, with that and a lot more done with the map, including more outside activity's other then the map itself.

Ow and if you want a cool house map on sandbox check this out ;) http://www.forgehub.com/forum/casual-maps/97683-v-terror-v2.html
its a big villa i made in the skybubble of sandbox.

Also yeah interlocking everything will make it smoother but the hell, there are no major cracks in the floor or something so ;)

    Weapons cache = sad face
I'll give you credit for making it a little cleaner than other maps like these. The two main entrances seem to open. Does a dumpster atleast spawn there? It looks like the advantage goes more to zombies. Theres more ways for zombies to get in. I dont know but theres a small ledge along the windows. Zombies can camp there for alittle then suprise the humans.

True, Zombies have an advantage but only for the first 120 secs, its becomes fun for the humans when they get on the roof, theres where they make the most/easiest kills. As long as the humans work together and stay alive for the first 120 secs it becomes fun and the humans will have an advantage. Thats why i think this map is fun, its fun to be a human and its fun to be a zombie :)

And what you mean with:"the 2 main entrances are too open" ? what should i change there?
