New Reach Video [21 Minutes]

I took another look at that evade footage and I think you stay in 1st person too! It looks like he only used half of the "Evade power" maybe if you click it he does a quick lunge and if you hold it longer you use the whole power meter up and do a roll?

I also noticed That the tiers are unlocked when the other team scores 25 then 50 pts for Invasion Slayer. So since you are getting beat you get a chance to come back by spawning with better weapons! Then the other team gets their new tiers when ur team gets to 25 & 50 pts. This occurs at 1:15, 4:50, and 16:20 in the DL version.

Also I saw somewhere that someone posted an image of the Elite dropping some large spherical object around 19:25. I believe its a plasma grenade and it just looks huge in comparison to the spartan that walks by due to their huge size differences. Speculation only

And the last Load out in the elite line up in ur last picture Katanga Askar is of the Cloak AA

I think the dropped ball from the Elite might be a health dealie...

It IS White and (I think) red...
could be dead wrong though...

 

Its white and has that kinda green dot in the middle like the plasmas from the other games. You do drop your grenades when you die in all the other halos as well. But as meta said could be dead wrong.

I have seen that they need objective objects throughout invasion (i.e. "the core"). Maybe it's one of those things, and he is trying to place it in the terminal he's near??

 

I think the core is that Turret-esque weapon the Elite was holding, and it looks much too big to be a grenade...

 

Is it me, or was the host a completely annoying, asking dumb questions, adding pointless comments, and interrupting the guy we're actually trying to listen to?

I think that it might have to do with the fact the elite could actually be holding an energy sword.


He's obviously not using "Ranger", he doesn't have a jetpack but still has a PR. The "Gladiator" class on the other hand lets you start off with an energy sword and a plasma repeater.

 

I saw that seen and I thought it was an energy sword but its not wow. The elites are now even better then I thought before. I do question though if you will always be able to assassinate as an elite or will you require a certain class or AA.

EDIT: I just watched the video again and saw that the elite pulls out a needle rifle as soon as he finishes stabbing the spartan. So that does confirm that you don't require a certain class or AA.

 

nah, its not like assasinating actually gives you an advantage. its more just for fun.
