Rusty Overpass

    Originally called, 'Rusty Warrens' but then realized that my map is not a network of tunnels as its name suggests but then appropriately changed to, 'Overpass' as there is a bridge-like structure in the middle. As this being a map Preview the following map is not finished and within my pile of uncompleted maps. I have yet to complete even one! Mostly due to a new map idea that pops into my head or the lack of interest from friends to do customs. So most of my maps have not be tested out. I am not currently working on this one, as I have 3 other maps backed up. But I was actually bothered to takes screenies, so I can just get some feedback.

    That's a Shotgun you see tucked away within that fence box.

    I have restrained the Warthog and you may access the turret but it will be unable to drive off. Also that is how you gain access to the stickies (in picture 3) via the man cannon that will shoot you up and bounce you on top.

    Same deal repeated on the other side and notice the stickies to get rid of any enemies using the Warthog turret.

    I like it but how well do the shield door affect gameplay? With my experience with SD's, they just make campers happy. BTW, your link at the bottom does not work.

    I haven't tested it... But yeah, I don't know what I was thinking with putting a small space protected by a shield door with a shotgun spawn... I'll remove it. It's probably not worth testing if it's a bad idea.

    And what link is not working? My signature tags? When I click the 'Defender' & 'Rusty Overpass' tags they link properly on mine.

    yeah, that is sounds like a good idea, taking out that shotty box :) And now the link works. There may have been a glitch with my computer. What gametypes is this map ment for?

    CTF is probably out of the question due to the current base design, but I'll adapt oddball, KoTH and territories. But I have in mind of one sided VIP.

    Being that structure as the 'VIP Base' and changing the spawns on the traditional bases as the attacking team.

    Sounds good. Do you have a link to the most recent version of this map? I can play it with my friends and give you some feedback.
