    Yeah I'm wondering the same to. I know the scoring is now 2 points for everyone second in the hill but that's not a reason to call it v4. There must be something else?

    The Mantle is a great addition to the map pack, I remember thinking the other day that it would be really great if people let us alter their already made maps for use with these gametypes, and the mantle was one of the ones I had in mind; it should work with both Team games and FFA games :).

    I think we should ask some of the makers of some popular symmetrical maps to see if we are aloud to convert them for regen. Just a thought because it would get some top notch maps working for regen and would get the gametype all that more popular

    Time limits added, score limits improved, scoring system changed.

    It overall affects the gameplay throughout the entire match. If i make a change that does that, i give it a fresh version (hence v4) if its a minor fix or change (for example speeding up shield recharge when collecting cpu's) this only slightly affects a portion of the game and sometimes doesnt affect at all that was why that fix was 3.1

    Ok thanks. If you guys want I can talk to Noxiw to see if I can convert some of his maps? Also Gyroscope is still gonna be in the map pack right?

    Aye, contact who you need to. I'd recommend scouting out maps that have high strategic vantage points (think like rise, highly unfairly dominating but creates map flow well) and also allow them to customise their map to fit the gametype first instead of just asking to do it yourself, A) it allows them to be involved in the gametype and take a look first hand at designing (or redesigning) a map and B) your not just taking credit from them,

    I think when you customise someones maps, after saving it makes you the author. They are the initial authors so 99% of credit is due to them. Just so you guys are aware ;)

    Thanks Mefire, its good to see some new faces on the thread :)

    On another note: MetaWaddleDee's The Mantle is now set up for Regen Slayer + Regen Ball (Both Team + FFA Variants) sadly, there wasnt enough items to set it up for Regen Flag.

    You guys can now download that too

    Also, I'm kind of saddened by the little downloads. I actually forgot to download because I've been playing it from you hosting so I never thought to download but from the amount of publicity it has been given now, I'm surprised at the downloads :/

    I've finally got to play some games on this :). IMO The Mantle worked perfectly for both FFA Ball and TRS, it made for some very tense games. A had a couple of criticisms that i thought would have helped to improve the map/gametypes but i forgot them both somehow :/ maybe they'll come back to me next time i play if they are usual problems, but they probably aren't.

    Also FFA ball on Hades Lair was fun but I thought it didn't really work with the Ball as there was many camping spots. But I'm sure it works fine with FFA RS..?

    Sorry about leaving quite early and randomly, my step brother was desperate to play MW2 coz he had been in town with his mum and hadnt been on the xbox ALL day :/ what sadlife. BTW, my mic is a bit faulty, so thats why i wasnt talking.

    Just so you know, I've been working on a couple of graphics that you may like, I'll edit this post with them when Im done :). buh bye.

    I asked him if he wants to set it up or if i could, and he invited me to party chat and said that i could if i wanted to so i went for it, only changes in the map are the central stone bridges have been removed as well as the central block angles, other than that the maps identical ;)

    Yeah, downloads are low right now. The publicity hasnt been overly high in all honesty. It's had a lot of views but not a lot of people commenting, nevermind downloading. Also, you need to consider the amount of versions been released with the gametypes. Rise has 15 downloads on its current version and has been available for download for only a week, so if you think of it like that, its not too bad.

    Initially hades lair was designed for Team Regen Slayer, in my opinion it supports all the gametypes well. I cant say i dont enjoy any of them and if i had to, i'd probably say Flag is my least favourite. The map is fairly complicated at first sight as there are a lot of tunnels (inspired by swat maps, as 90% of swat maps have close quarter tunnels / corridors in them) on it and then theres the vast open space which the ghost can quite openly control in FFA. The game does drastically change in playstyle when playing on the Team variants or playing Flag. In Flag gametypes all action tends to flow through the tunnels and the lair, where as the team versions have an open scattering with people in all areas of the map. FFA favours the open section simply because the bonus objective starts out there, it then requires work to take the objective to a more secluded area in FFA Ball. Alternatively, when playing FFA RS, players can sit at the vantage point and easily dominate those going for the bonus zone. The maps more about control and strategically thinking, rather than straight forward running for the objective like it mostly is in Rise / Regain

    Theres a whole list here so just send me the links when you've uploaded it. If thats too difficult Ill be happy to just take screenshots and/or setup the forum post for the map pack.

    However, it didnt actually happen until 17:10 GMT (12:00 EST)

    But thats my bad, i had to wait for my new graphics card to come and get it installed (its a beasttttt)

    And im thinking of remaking Hades Lair?
    I like the underneath section, but it hardly ever gets used so i'm gonna do a quick rebuild/re-arrange and give it a different name ;)

    an hour maybe. 10 oddball starting points on gyroscope, 10 oddball on regain, 10 flag on regain plus tweaking the spawn systems for both.
    Let me remind you that to place just one starting point required me to start the game, switch the gametype in forge, spawn a starting point and hold it in place, save and quit. Now do that 30 times.
