Epiphany Made by JPeloquin218 Epiphany is a Symmetrical map built on Sandboxs Crypt level. The map is made for Competetive 2 Team Games. It can play with Every gametype expect Infection. The map is based on 2 things, the two center peices of the map. If you look at the screenshots below, you will see the middle is seprated into two parts, Purple and Yellow, you will also see the giant Octagon in the middle. Ans no you cannot get in it. The point of it is to start gameplay that relies on picking the right path. For example, in CTF, you have the flag, you gotta decide which center way will get you there safely and quickly. That is the kind of gameplay I wanted on this map and what ended up happening is becoming a great gameplay expirence. You could save pieces by merging the tube y-intersection into the ground instead of using 3 little wedges. Also, there is an awkward corner with the ramps and octagon on the non-tube/grass/light side.
The structure of your map is really good, but many of the pieces, especially tube ramps and large wedges tend to cause unwanted bumps while walking if lef unmerged. With more merging you could make your map look much better and even improve gameplay slightly. Merging the Y-tube into the ground would save you all the tube ramps in addition to making the map look better.
Ya all you have to do to get those pesky doubble blocks and tube y-intersections into the crypt floor is to flip them upside down. You just have to make sure the item's tear drop isn't below the crypt floor. Goning on, the map looks good except the random wood bridge thins. Personally, I'd make them straight slightly merged into the floor. Keep em' if you like, I just think it subtracts form the otherwise rather clean look of your map
