I know I post alot of signatures, but im trying to get better and feel that I am improving. Here is another one I made...
you should make them biout the same size as your current first of all.. and dont stretch images past 100%
haha, I see you have attempted to incorporate the text into the background, however it doesn't necessarily have to be behind the render xD. What I suggest is making the font colour easy to read, BUT reflect a colour WITHIN the signature. Intead of bright pink taking all the attention away from the ODST, make it grey or something so that it both fits, and is readable. Secondly, yeah that C4D/funky looking swirl is very distorted, and the colours don't match. I'm not sure what program you are using? But if you are using photoshop, when you are near the end use some gradient maps to make everything match. However it is easier to just simply use colours that work together well. Third, the render kinda seems slapped on, and out of proportion? I'd suggest using stock images before jumping to renders. The difference is that renders are cut outs (which is what that ODST is) and stocks are basically full pictures that can be edited to your content For future signatures, try the following: -Keep things in proportion (if you scale something hold shift) -Use colours that work well together -Try some gradient maps? -Establish a flow. If your stock image has most of the lines/angles directed in a certain way, don't go against the grain, just stick with it, and make the signature enjoyable to look at! Good luck, KIU ~Myztic
Don't put signatures to max size, it looks really bad when it's huge. Try around 400 width X 140 to 180 height .
