Well this is my latest map. It's been designed around my new Gametype Regeneration Slayer and whilst building it, I decided it would work very well for normal gametypes aswell. I've already hit object limit, so there arent many improvements I can make at the moment. I like what you did with the back section. Very nice. However, it does look very open. Anyway, I should be able to test some maps today. I wont have long but it should be enough to test yours and mine.
That cute little ghosty will probably wreck everything. You might want to replace the one rocket launcher with a spare clip with two rocket launchers with no extra ammo, placed along the midline of the map. Just keep it in mind if the ghost is a problem during testing.
After testing, I can conclude the Ghost really wasn't a problem. Most of the action congregated around the built up side, and when the Ghost came in, it was awesome instead of annoying.
sign me up this looks great. am i right in thinking that objects dont ghost mearge into the floor of the crypt because you have done that with the tube corners.
You are correct in thinking that. I've simply flipped them on their roofs but merged them flat so they can keep the groovy trim Also, you can just run and jump onto the roofs of the tubes now, they're at the perfect height to provide cover and an obstacle that provides a good height advatage when escaping from the ghost if needs be. Thanks for the interest as well guys. I'll be testing this map on Thursday (tomorrow) check out the weekly Rustoms thread. It's the same map but tweaked a little to support Regeneration Slayer. I'll probably throw a few regular customs in to have a bit of variety You guys will be seeing 3 new maps in the Weekly Rustoms Regain, Gyroscope and Hades Lair. I'll post a link when i get in tonight
