way too much blurring on the first. just use Gaussian blur on 1 or 2. and blur the whole background btw haha. that stuff on the right isn't blurred. maybe don't turn the text. oh and i just noticed that u messed up while cutting around the red guy on the mask. just go look at other people sigs on this site and tuts to get an idea of what will look nice. :)

u messed up on his visor. look closely if you have a small screen. but yea. when blurring you wanna do the whole background because its realistic.

I like the 2nd one, and how do you blur the whole background? I dont know how to do anything in GIMP. My brother (MontageMedia) is teaching me.

Just defy, you're not exactly an expert on Blurring either. So I would refrain from make that judgment.

Since, you seem new at sigs, I'll give you a definition on flow instead of criticism. It'd be hard to understand what we mean without knowing what it is first. It would probably be better if I had a tutorial on this though. >.>

My definition of flow: Flow is the direction everything seems to be going to. The spartan you have is standing still, but his body has a position like he's ready to get up and go at the second. Kind of like Kinetic energy. So the direction the flow should go to top right. Then you find c4ds that have a straight part, and rotate it to that direction.

Now even though I say that, there are different ways to go about flow. Sometimes the flow of the render will fight the flow of the effects, but that will actually help show the flow of the render, and make it intensified flow. There are many ways to go about flow, but plenty more ways not to go about it.

this is frag man. hes the stain in forge hubs underpants..although hes helpful hes annoying. anyways yea my suggestion IS how you would blur the background of a stock in gimp, no doubt about it. you can't be an expert at giving directions on how to use gimp. you either know or you don't. he's right about flow though. it's not something required, as a lot of forge hubs members would say. but it helps a lot to have it. theres different ways of generally blurring to be fair to fraggers. ill update this in a sec
