Bunige said something like your beta invite comes with halo 3: odst so when I buy a new xbox I will also buy odst BUT!!!! My friend said you had to pre order odst to get beta so I'm not sure if I should buy odst? Anyone know what the story is? I know there is a reach thread but couldn't find it and I don't have any time!!! And also, what's your thoughts on the beta?!
The Halo Reach BETA invite comes with any copy of Halo 3: ODST. So buy ODST if you want the Reach beta.
As Redneck and Meta have said the Beta comes with any copy of Halo 3: ODST. The beta will be available on May 3rd(4th in AU). Oh and that Reach stuff you "couldn't" find, It's got it's own sub-forum. Halo: Reach Discussion

I'm not going to buy ODST, 1. I wouldn't play it. I'm getting JC2 soon. 2. Buying the game purely for a beta that will remain exclusive for 3 months is pointless. 3. From what I've heard, no-one plays it any more, so i wouldn't have anyone to do firefight with. If i were you, i wouldn't get it. But maybe that's just me.
If your buying a new xbox just buy the Xbox 360 Elite Spring Bundle. Its a elite and it comes with Halo 3: ODST and Forza Motorsport 3 in one case so you get two $60 games for free...That what I did but I'm selling my ODST/Forza case
In my opinion, you should get ODST. The campaign for it was amazing. I really loved the way that bungie carefully orchestrated it and the way they stagger the enemies in the levels is flawless. Also, the reason why nobody plays ODST any more is because firefight just got repetitive. Anyways, as others said the Reach beta comes standard with any copy of ODST.
