Im sorry if this is in the wrong area. I cant seem to find the EXACT place to put this question. Im almost done with a map im about to finish off and im having a problem. Its gonna be a Team Slayer type game. So what i did was in one area of the map i placed respawn points, I made them as "Attacker" while on the other side of the map i placed respawn points with them as "Defender". Now after i edited the Team Slayer Gametype to my own i asked my friend to join and we started it up. However we both seemed to spawn at the top of the map (SandBox) when i placed the spawn points downstairs. How do i make it so that the Blue Team spawns at the Attacker side, and the Red team spawns at the defender side. Again, Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Please move it if it is. Thanks for the help!
press start and change the forge mode to slayer then place "starting points" they act the same as respawns except they are for at the start of the match/round. then do what you did to them what you did to the respawn points and badow! you've got working spawns
It sounds like you forgot about the Starting points on Sandbox! These are the respawn points that have the ring above them, they are only visible when you go to monitor mode, then change the game into a team slayer game.
→Labeling each Respawn Point 'Attacker' or 'Defender' is not usually necessary, Try using Respawn Areas instead, they are quite helpful for controlling spawn locations. →Double check that your Starting Points are also downstairs. *You should read over Insane54's Advanced Forging Guide, it has a very helpful section on Spawning and Player Objectives, you can find the guide HERE If you are still having problems, feel free to invite me and I'll help you troubleshoot.
