So today machinima.com posted vids of the new map pack... this one caught my attention. YouTube- Modern Warfare 2: Storm Map Trailer (Stimulus Package DLC Mapathy) [HD] At 11-12 seconds listen, the reloading sound from the m40a3(cod4 sniper) is in there. If I'm correct, they're hinting that this gun is being brought back in the DLC. I sure hope so...
Yeah, I could see that happening, but it's in a random spot that wouldn't have a "cool effect"... The camera is panning down a hallway. I'm calling fishy on that one. I think IW or machinima is seriously hinting.
I expected activision to release some shitty as maps that everyone would buy anyway. They're doing that and making twice the fortune instead. I like it when a company doesn't make me feel like a tool for buying their ****. Srsly overpriced for maps that are in the other games.
It's not random - the sound occurs right before a fight scene. It makes sense that a reload audio bit would come before the screen cuts to gunfire and dramatic music plays.
True, but in a cinematic sense, a black screen fading into battle with the sound would be more appealing than panning down a hallway. I guess I'm the only one who'd care to even think good of it possibly being brought back anyways.
Maybe so, but that's not what happened. In the video, it's clear that the reload was used to introduce the gunplay, after the short clips of the bare were shown.
I see your point, but wouldn't they use an ingame sound? I don't see the point of introducing gunfire for a video game with sounds that aren't in the game. I would expect maybe an assault rifle reload, maybe the barrett 50 cal or the intervention... It just doesn't add up all the way. But then again, we could have a mediocre editor, or IW is just f*cking with us.
No it isn't. I wanted more Spec-ops. I can't play MW2 multiplayer anymore, the people I end up playing with are idiots and it's not a game you can jump into after not playing for several weeks.
That's weird, it was public when I posted this. It's machinima so go ahead and FR them. I wonder why it's private now.
