Squad Elimination (New Mode)

    BabyBaconStrips, R3AP3R 2117 and Lil Jimmy95 Join Forces In One of the Coolest Modes. Squad Elimination. This New Mode gives a Conquest Feel that many Forgehub Members have noticed over the years. This New Mode Came From the Battlefield Bad Company 2 Demo. Mainly Focusing on Rushing, Gunning and Teamwork.

    Squad Elimination:
    Description: A Team Slayer Based Gamemode with 1 Life. That Means Teamwork is your best weapon against your enemy. Use Heights and Objects to Flank your enemies. 8-14 Players.

    Settings:
    Health = 200%
    Regeneration: None
    Damage: 75%
    Primary: Assualt Rifle
    Secondary: Battle Rifle
    Live(s): 1
    Speed: 90%
    Gravity: 150%

    The Map: Pipeline
    Coming Spring 2010!

    Beta Testing: 1 Week (Dates Will Change If Problems)

    Does sound like a good idea but the gametype will be very boring for those who die at the start just left watching everyone else.

    Also do you have a game timer because the game will end up at a stalemate after a certain period of time when the majority of players die making the game boring.

    Random idea that I just got from this.
    Same thing you have but teammates respawn on kills and have a shield leech. Thus the only way for your team to survive is by killing enemies and a single player left alone out there could still win the game. You might want to increase the ease of killing for that though to make the game possible to win.

    The Humans will have lower health. I've played it and are making changes.

    Gamer Timer is added. 7 Rounds, 7 Mins. Infinate Ammo. Besides the only reason the game could get boring is unless:

    1. You are retarded enough to go alone.
    2. Aren't Driving or Gunning Vechiles.
    3. No Flanking.

    I personally stick with my team. That way I dont die half the time and I have my team backing me up with cover fire. The Gametype is currently being fixed over and over. Dont worry it will look great once we finish.

    Pretty sure I already released a gametype very similar to this like a year ago.

    It was featured with the 'REDEEMER' featured map post. Its not identical, but the basics are all the same. Doesnt mean you have to not make your own, it just means Its already been done.

    Yep that a lot of crap. But I leaving soon so I dont really have to push these maps onto my plate just yet!

    49 minutes? That sounds... waaaaaay too long. 7 minutes would be fine... not 7 rounds though. I'd probably quit after 3.

    In the Alpha, There was alot of items that were removed. Like Warthogs and Classes. The Alpha is still having problems so I'll make some more changes. Were at 55% Done. So the Beta will be released soon.

    Incase you didnt know, I finished the map today. Alphas are underway. I'll be accepting testers now!

    Go play search and destroy and you will see that this needs to have some kind of objective that forces one team to move from their positions, or else lose. A time limit keeps it from lasting forever but that still does not gurantee people will not camp.
