Sandbox Ship Battle 6v2

    Ship Battle v6.2 created by Toastman 500 and a little by Snow5man

    I made Ship Battle 1 about 5 months ago, on my other account Jochi Pochi. It featured 2 large ships on the sky bubble, one covenant themed and the other UNSC themed - however i was a noob back then and the map featured poor forging and no merging. So I went online to see how to make my map better. 1 month later, with the knowledge of how to merge and make better maps, Ship Battle v2 was made. This map was probably one of the best maps that I've made, and it featured 2 identical large ships in the sky bubble stocked with lots of weapons and vehicles. This was soon surpassed by Ship Battle v3, which was merely a better forged version with more equal weapons and more gametypes. These were followed by Ship Battlev4 and v5, which were various mods that a friend did to my maps, like adding gauss turrets and clones to enhance gameplay. Fastforward about 3 months to the present and I have my own account, with no maps. So I remade Ship Battle v3, but this time I added 2 more smaller ships and evened out the weapons, creating a larger map.

    The map supports the gametypes Team Slayer, KOTH, and Capture the Flag. It might support others but I can't remember. I recommend changing the starting weapons to AR BR and setting there no suicide time addition.

    Power Drain - 2

    Hornets - 2
    Transport Hornets - 2
    Banshees - 4
    Gauss Warthog - 2
    Scorpion Tank - 2
    Wraith - 2

    Most vehicles and weapons are set on a fast respawn time, but items such as hornets and spartan lasers are set higher.

    Please tell me your honest opinion on the map and how I did this post. This is my first post but please tell me what you like and don't like.

    You did good for your first post with everything such as Links, Pictures, Descriptions, and Weapon lists. I also like the idea behind you map but it seems to be lacking aesthetically. I would also like to see you brighten up your post with some other visuals and maybe some titles. Their not needed, but they would sure draw some attention from other members, and may ultimately lead to better feedback.

    Great map,looks nice,i like the view how u made the map look like a scorpion.and you put a guass turret on the tail,that was cool.looks really good for a first post.overall.looks good,you got my dl =)

    i was gonna do sumthing much like this, based off of the space battles on star wars battlefront 2, I think its a cool idea but there needs to be more to it like aesthetics of course, more ways of boarding opposing players ships, and try to make the main ships larger for sum close quarters fighting.

    "What the hell am I supposed to do now that I'm on a tiny island with a missile pod and no cover, and snipers are trying to kill me? Take down their hornet? Oh wait you have two lasers in the base to do that and the hornet just dodged my missile pod shots. --------" *suicides*

    That is how a similar map of mine worked when it looked just like yours. Now its better so it does not involve being a terrible game; you should do the same for your map. Look at dogfight in my sig for some inspiration and feel free to copy anything out of it because I am too lazy to remake it. Then playtest your map at least 10 times to fix all the things wrong with it.
