Dream On is part of the Halo 3 Forge Forum Map Pack 2. The map was originally designed by Solo XIII and forged by me (AceOfSpades), Jeff, and Solo. Supported Gametypes The map is designed for MLG 2v2 games of TS and King. Background The map started out as a design in the Sketch-up Feedback Thread. I quote the designer: The Original Design It looked like a challenge I wanted to take, and I did. After a little while, Jeff offered to help forge on it, and it became a co-forge. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! I would stop there but this is considered spam =( This is truely epic. It all looks really, and goes together. It also looks really smooth. What i dont understand is where are the spawns? it is unsymmetrical, i thought mlg maps had to be symmetrical for the fairest gameplay.
No, a well designed MLG map does not have to be symmetric. Guardian was on the circuit for a long time and it's asymmetric. Construct, as well, is not completely symmetric. Thank you for the comment!
With the aesthetic pistons and a name like "ace of spades" I totally think you should have named this map "MOTORHEAD" instead of "dream on". But thats just my opinion. Excellent work man- how long did this map take you to construct from sketchup til now?
if this was to resemble anything like an engine. i wouldnt call those pistons. maybe like teh exhaust. a for teh map. i like how you guys release a map each day instead of all at once. seems fairer. cept i really want to see more of dem nao!!!! lol. as for the map. amazing. as soon as i get my account back. ima DL the entire map pack.
Going to DL. What's even more impressive than the map itself is your ability to stick with the original plan. A plan is one thing, but the actual map is another. 5/5, of course. I recognize that you changed the design, but you kept the original idea intact, that is.
Looks amazing. An idea is to throw some mongeese in there and set up v.I.p. territories to play rocket race/ brute burnout. Great map none the less. Very sexy aesthetics
Played on this map last night, truly awesome. It's very interesting combat-wise. About MLG symmetry, this map is completely symmetrical anyway, right?

Looks surprisingly unique for an MLG map (most maps are base here, other base there, fancy structure in middle, done!). This is lots better.

This map looks amazing. I still remember a few years ago, when we were members of that group TheCartographers. Since then, you have come an extremely long way in terms of forging. Every map you've released lately has shown that. You are a great forger, and I definitely encourage you to continue making maps. I've been rather busy with life as of late, so I am most likely not going to be able to experience gameplay on this great battlefield. However, if I ever get the chance, I will play a game on it.

Whoa! this is the ub3r coolest map in the universe! i am not a huge fan of sandbox maps for the most part but this looks great, must've took forever ill DL it.
I love this, amazing flow, a competitive version would be awesome. Please don't stop making maps just because CoDMW2 is out.
im glad this made it onto the FFMP2, it's truely amazing. i played it on a 2v2 lan and it was great. but there is a spawn on camo side that i can always spawn kill from snipe side, other than that its great!
Beautiful. Simply beautiful. This is probably the cleanest, best forged map I have seen in a long time. The towers coming out of the top are very cool, and if you dont mind, I'm gonna use those I like how the whole thing flows very nice work 97/100 only a few off because I dont give 100's
