    Bonus Round... Good Luck!
Welcome to Bonus Round 2! I have been working on this project since the beginning of 2010. If you have played the original Bonus Round you'll know it is a remake of the Bonus Round in ODST's Firefight. My main goal was to create the fun of Bonus Round without you having to complete 15 waves of covenant! I have added more skulls and the gametype is better than ever!

    How it Works
You are either and ODST or a Grunt (Infected). As an ODST you have 20 seconds to prepare for the grunts to start dropping in. If you are a grunt you wait in a room for 20 seconds and then a Killball spawns allowing you to enter the arena. The grunts get no points for kills so the goal of the game is to rack up as many kills as you can while you are an ODST. Now don't think it is just a grunt massacare. The grunts actually cause significant damage with all their fuel rods, needlers, and grenades. So the game requires skill to survive weather or not you are an ODST or a grunt. The Grunts enter the map though little spawn chambers up in the sky. They pass a needler, a fuel rod gun, and plasma grenades on the way, so quickly hold RB because those are your tools of destruction.

    Skulls
My goal to improve Bonus Round was to add more skulls. In the real Bonus Round all skulls are on, so why can't I recreate the skull effects in my gametype?
Iron: It is infection so you only have one life.
Black Eye: Leech is added to odsts shields. Leech means when you cause damage you get your shields back.
Tough Luck: You are playing real people, not AIs so they can dodge what you do.
Catch: Grunts always pick up grenades when they spawn.
Tilt: Geunts have infinite ammo but the grunt weapons only have on extra clip so they have low ammo when you pick them up. Thanks Zack!

Famine Could not be added due to the fact that its impossible

    Tough Luck

Tough Luck is the smallest of the 3. There are 2 spawn chambers, and should be played with 5-7 people. The layout for this map just came to me one day. I drew it out and started to build it. The map looks just like it came from ODST. It has a Spartan lazer, a shotgun, and an AR.
    Difficulty: Normal

    Mythic
    [IMG]
Mythic is the medium sized map. There are 2 spawn chambers and should be played with 5-7 people. It is a down sized remake of the last level of Halo 3. As you acsend the weapons get better. It has a Spartan Lazer, Shotgun, 3 Firebomb Grenades and 2 SMGs.
    Difficulty: Legendary

    Catch
    [IMG]
Catch is the largest of the 3. It has 3 spawn chambers and 1 ghost chamber, it should be played with 7-12 people. Catch is a direct remake from ODST. It is part of mombassa streets. I fould it while wandering around the city looking for a map idea. It has a Sniper, 2 ARs, a carbine, 2 Frag grenades, 1 firebomb grenade, and a hidden weapon.
    Difficulty: Heroic

I have to say, I like the last two best (mythic and catch) considering I recognize where they came from.
Although, Mythic doesn't really feel like a bonus map to me considering I associate it more with the flood than grunts, but to each his own.
Gameplay wise it plays very well according to how the Firefight Bonus round actually works. However, I will ***** about one thing that bothered me in the first pack as it does in the second: I think the Grunt's gravity should be increased to just above the ODST's, which in this case would be 200%. I think it would further simulate the fact that grunts don't really jump. I really don't know how much it'd truly affect gameplay, but again it would further enhance the experience.
Overall, a job well done especially with the forging. All of these are pretty well forged and look like they allow for some great games (I've only actually played Mythic).
With that I sincerely hope for a third pack with some more familiar structures I can spot out =P

Don't worry the next map pack will knock your socks off! It will have many more remakes and it will follow a new gametype.
