I am planning an infection game but I want people's opinions on what I should or should not do before I forge. It will be pretty simple. Bassically the humans will be in a medium sized ring that has about five entrances for the zombies on the sides of the ring. Now this may sound the same as many different games but there is something much different about it. The zombies spawn very far above the humans. The spawn room has bubble shields in it. THe zombies can then throw these bubble shields down at the humans, giving them advantages against an unexpecting human. I plan on giving the human one headshot BRs but I'm open to change. Any ideas on things I could change for the better.
I'd suggest giving them Snipers...however, if you do, it'd be exactly the same as this one mini-game someone made a while back on Standoff. A good idea is that you give Magnums to the humans, and allow the zombies to both fall from the sky AND come in through doors in the wall. Maybe even throw in a Custom Power-Up that appears every few minutes that makes a zombie fast, or slower but with shields. Y'know, something just to change up gameplay a bit. DEFINITELY DON'T GIVE BRs!!! It'd be too difficult for the zombies and people would get pissed and probably leave.
Ok, did you read the part about the bubble shields? I think it'd be fair if the zombies could give them selves cover wherever they wanted. But I'll try a sniper and a magnum.
i'd advise sniper magnum, but maybe have a long respawning OR low clip med respawn Br, as a sort of power weap. Also i have already made a dome, but do not have anything to use it in, if you'd like you can focus on the gametype, i'll work on the map? Each getting respected credit - of course.
