Being Good or Bad is relative, it depends on the view point you look at it from. Without the bad there is no good. That said, even if we were a "good" race. We would still be asking ourselves this same question. We would think of how much better we could be, and about how bad parts of our society are. This question would turn into a paradox because you can never be completely good until bad doesn't exist. I think we're a perfectly between bad and good race.

    This is how I feel.
My own view point is that Good and Bad should be measured against the well being of all living things on this planet. In this sense, I believe that humans are the greatest evil. Even if you take it from the point of view that good and bad can only be measured amongst human to human interaction, I still think we are bad, however, much less so. It is natural that living beings should be selfish, so it is interesting to think what the world might be if sentient beings on Earth had evolved in different ways, from different animals. Would any sentient race be as evil as our own? Are non sentient beings less evil, simply because they are not capable of committing the same levels of evil as humanity? Is intent or result the determining factor in whether an action is good or evil?
I ask myself the above questions, among many others, often when pondering humanity.
