    Description:
    Presented to you by Vyctoriouz and Sir Toppum Hat1 comes Skyline, a map created with Halo 2's famous map, Headlong in mind.
    While one might think that it would be a direct port from that game, it is not. It is a re-inspiration, not a remake. It features large,
    intricate structures such as the close quarters office building, the sky high red base, the blue shotgun base, and the two sniper
    side bases. It also features a large, widespread bridge that fills in the middle section between the previous bases. Anything from
    long range sniper or BR duals to short range AR and grenade mosh pits can be found. Skyline can be run by vehicles, but along with
    this domination comes multiple ways of eliminating them. A missile pod in office, a rocket launcher in mid, and plasma grenades
    throughout are all very efficient ways of doing so. It plays very well for games such as One Flag and Team Slayer. However, it does
    support many others. Just make sure you use BR starts.

    Recommended: One flag, Team Slayer, (with BR starts)
    Recommended Party Size: 10-14 players

    UPDATED STUFF:
    I have updated a few things about the map. To start I have improved the spawns and gametypes. This includes Team slayer, One flage, and Assault. There as also been some physical chages to the map. The cat-walk that was to the left of the Red Base has been greatly improved. It has been changed to a multi leveled walkway that provides cover. Also the warthog that was once behind and to the left of blue base is now on the right side of the Blue Base.

    That way you can have the most recent version, and have the best gameplay possible.

    Wow this looks great. Very different inspiration, great look and awesome action shots.

    Edit: After playing through the map I like the equality you have created by placing the wraith slightly closer to red team but the rockets closer to blue. I also, through a bit of experimenting, managed to get on top of blue base, not that its too big a deal. Overall the map looks like a great and balanced big team map, I especially like the small areas of cover around the grounds. Great work!

    I've always loved the idea of huge buildings in a competitive map and this pulls it off more than well. it really is aesthetically beautiful! I especially love your creativity with the top of the gold building. I would really love to look inside the buildings because I wouldn't mind seeing how you decorated the inside, I'm currently working on a fort map and this is good inspiration, thank you for putting in the effort mate. 5/5

    WOW!!!! this looks Epic in many aspects of the game......one of the best looking BTB maps ive ever seen..well i would use it for BTB purposes anyway...but this map just pwns any other sanbox BTB map....good job =)

    I couldn't resist. I downloaded, and gave it a spin. At first, I was expecting a map with a similar feel to Headlong. What I found was so much more...

    Instantly, those pillars on the skyscraper reminded me of jumping on them on Headlong. The base felt very industrial, and used wooden objects to their full potential.

    Then, the mancannon chute came to my attention. This was definately the section that needed the most imagination, but it was stil nostalgic as hell.

    Next up, the base opposite. Well....let's just say I've only just picked my jaw up from off the floor. That shotgun spawn is IDENTICAL to Headlong's one, only without the crazy-high skyscraper.

    The other areas didn't really strike a nostalgia chord with me, but they played spectacularly. Every part of this map felt right from start to finish, and I was soon trying to jump to the highest points in the spirit of Headlong. (I reached the top pillar on the skyscraper. I felt like jesus)

    Definately give this map a download if you're a fan of Halo 2 or Headlong.

    Finally! Ive been waiting for this one for a while. I downloaded it and everything looks great (haven't gotten to play it yet) It's a bit less similar to Headlong than I expected (but that would have been 100% impossible to pull off anyway) but it's still great and the resemblance is easy to see. Great work!

    So I checked this out when you sent it to me, and I love it. Its not the same as the original, yet that is impossible to do. So what I did is pretend like I never saw the original and this map is epic. Its beatiful. I love everything about it. The way you utilized the sanddunes with the wooden walkways, where you couldnt build the original structures. Plus the shotgun spawn is awesome too. I ran around the map for like 15 minutes by myself and it really is a great map guys. Your maps are always purty though toppum hat, but this really is one of the best I have seen, honestly thats no lie. I will be keeping it for a long time and I really regret not accepting the invite you sent me the other night cuz I am sure you were testing this and I missed out. Invite me again when you get some more customs on it and I will not turn you down.

    Wow I went straight to the pictures before reading the description and the first thing that came to my mind is that "this map really looks like headlong" lol. But yea this is a really awesome map.

    Holy Crap. That's all i can say. its beautiful. absolutely gorgeous. the hog ramp is awesome, the bulidings are easy to navigate, ahhh.. its just straight up awesome. i lovez it.

    Very nice. Way better than my re-imagination of Headlong. Downloaded this beauty, and I have to say the pictures, even though photoshopped, just don't do it justice. You gotta download this one, and then play on it to get the full awesome. Is there video gameplay of any 8v8 games on this? this map looks epic for 8v8.

    Did you make the change i show to you ? But has i see you take the idea of the Scorpion but you but a Wraith ! Anyways the map are great i feel like in halo 2 when i walk on headlong ! Great job guys !

    Dear Forgehub,

    I have uploaded a new version of the map, but under the same name. So, instead of making a new version with a new name it is a new version with the old name, just fewer Downloads. The reason I uploaded a new version of the map is because some of the game-types where not working, but they are fixed now.

    So, If you have already Downloaded this map do it again please. It is the same name/map just improved. (if that makes sense)

    Also, a video of the map will be up soon.

    I've always wondered how gameplay f a map would work out if you had 1 tank in the middle as a singular power weapon/vehicle. I've seen banshees, but never a wraith. Good job with that. I also like the buildings and the urban jungle feel.

    Well usually, you shouldn't ever have to change the name of the map. just say that you updated the download link and made some changes. You should only have to rename the map if there are so many drastic changes that it isn't even the same map any more.

    I'll get that new version on my xbox ASAP. Once I get access to it, I'll let you know if I have any real issues, probably with spawns or something. Good work and solid Forging, nonetheless. :)

    This is the best "urban" style map I've seen (even if you aren't selling it as that), but the Wraith is bad, really unbalances gameplay. I removed it and found gameplay to be much improved, just a suggestion.

    Bra frickin Vo!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Spectacular map man. Loved Headlong and your tribute does it justice. I will DL your update on the map. I imagine it had to do with spawn points.. during bigteam play some of the spawns were too open and easy kills kinda killed the competitiveness, also in playing the one flag variant having the flag on the first floor didn't play as well. If you remember in the original headlong the flag placement was higher up in the building so it was more of a challenge but if you did get the flag you could throw it down the middle of the building to your teamates below.

    Also I have to say I was really bummed that you despawned the banshee out of the inventory. I always liked that you could use it to get to the top of the building for a quick flag steal, but I do like the wraith you added. You could consider adding a transport hornet with an additonal missle pod to balance it out.

    Excellent work. For sure my new favorite map.

    Also we tried out SWAT slayer on this and it played great.

    Well, actually the changes where to the assault game-type. I've never had trouble with the spawns. You may have played the map with too many people.

    For one flag, we used to have the flag higher in the building but it was too easy to camp it. We found that it played better on the main floor. I just takes team work to protect it.

    We used to have a banshee on the map but it played really bad. It was just to powerful, even with two missile pods and a lazer (we tried). So, we changed it to a scorpion but it was still to powerful, so we changed it again to a wraith and we found that it was just right. With the wraith you have to use teamwork. To protect it and kill it.

    MUST LOOK AWAY!!!! I thought there was no such thing as an insanely awesome city map in the main floor of sanbox!!!
