My Unreleased Maps

    If you've ever talked to me, you know how I talk about a bunch of maps that I have in progress. There are 14 maps on my HD that are unreleased, some playable and some not. So have fun with this map dump.

    Note that all of these maps are competitive or MLG.

    Playable Maps

    Bliss

    Bliss is a 2v2 map that I designed specifically with King in mind. It plays fairly well, but there are still some changes I would like to make to it.

    Variance

    Variance is a 1v1 map set up for MLG 1v1's. I'm not really happy with the way it plays and would like to make some major changes to it.

    Pneumatic

    Pneumatic is a symmetrical MLG 2v2 CTF and TS map. Again, I'm not very happy with the way it plays. I am currently making some changes to the bases and am also having someone else hopefully work on it.

    Everglade

    Everglade is a BTB asymmetrical Avalanche map that uses half of Avalanche, not including the man cannon room. It is designed to play CTF and Assault very uniquely, and I am fairly happy with the way it plays.

    Foreshadow

    Foreshadow is another asymmetrical BTB map, this time on Sandbox. I'm also fairly happy with the way it plays, but would still like to make some changes to it.

    Aureole

    Aureole is an MLG map that was intended for FFA and 2v2. I'm not really happy with the way this plays, mostly because of spawning issues.

    Hysteric

    Hysteric is an asymmetrical 4v4 MLG map that was largely inspired by Archaic. I am very happy with the way this plays. This map is the map most near release, but I would still like to change a couple of technicalities before releasing it.

    Unfinished Maps

    This is a map that I started on to try and fix the issues with Construct. I've kind of lost inspiration to forge it, even though I have a whole design made up for it.

    This a BTB map with a huge bridge spanning between the two bases. I think that MultiLockOn is currently working on it, though I'm not quite sure of the distinction between "working on" and "sitting on HD collecting dust." :p

    This is a 1v1/2v2 map I started on a few days ago. The idea I have in my head was for it to be a mix between a cave and nicely built structures. The idea has kind of dwindled since I started though.

    This is a Foundry 2-base map started with MLG in mind. I really like the side base I have made, but the main base I have started is kinda crappy.

    This is a map I started on Friday that is going to be intended for 2v2/4v4 TS and King. I'm really liking what I have and hope to finish it soon.

    This is a concept design I made for MLG 4v4's. It's asymmetric and very height-oriented. I like most of the design, but I fear one side may be way overpowered.

    And finally, this is an urban-styled BTB map that I am working on with Noxiw and MetaWaddleDee. I think it could play really well if we ever get around to finishing it.

    Well, there you have it... a shitload of unfinished maps. Tell me which ones you would like to see finished, because I doubt I will finish all of the unfinished ones.​

    Well, I see a lot of really amazing maps here. Like Bliss or Foreshadow. If you don't finish some of these (or don't want to) would you consider giving them up to somebody else to finish? And get co-forger credit, or something?

    As long as I could trust the person to finish them and do a good job with them.

    I'm guessing you had yourself in mind?

    I did actually. I am currently in pursuit of a designed project for me to work on (as I'm horrible with design). Of course I'd want it to be something I'm interested in as well.

    If you can understand a paper sketch, you could take the Construct reimagination.
    If you don't want to have to understand a paper sketch, you could take the crypt concept map.

    Those are the only two unfinished maps I have designs for.

    Lemme take a look at the crypt concept map, but if you don't mind I'll probably push toward a normal competitive map rather then MLG...I'm not to fond of MLG, nor do I completely understand it well enough to create an educated MLG map.

    Foreshadow looks amazingly stylised. Your maps seen to have a very unique feel, bending around naturally, and i like that. I'll download foreshadow and maybe everglade tomorrow and give you some feedback.

    wow that is alot of maps you have there! how do you decide which one to work on? when i forge a map i pour my heart and soul and about two months into it, i can hardly think of something else when im doing it

    Most of these maps are better than the typical threads we see. You should maybe consider designing a custom Gametype to unite all these maps into a Masterpiece.

    I remember getting invited to a game and that game was the map in the last picture. I really like it and I think you should continue working on it. Its your preference but I did really like.

    I remember playing Aureole like a 1000 forge days ago, lol.

    I like your foundry maps from what I can see in the few pics.

    Most of those look so good already you could just add spawns and objectives and they would play well. Some might need vehicles and weapons too but the structures look better than most on forgehub.

    i can work on the cave map. im a good forger, just have problems with design.
    i can work up a little forgework or something to show that i will do a good job on it if you like.
