Hangover's hitting you hard, huh? I think killstreaks is justified, but to be able to string together combos like 5-7-9 just breaks the idea of how a killstreak should work. A better killstreak system would definitely help. Like, 3 choices, but the first would be of value from 3-5 kills in a row, the second would be 6-10, and thirs 10-15. Also, take out the nuke.
The whole idea of killstreaks is that they give you a reward for killing and not dying...more or less, turns the point of the game into waiting around a corner. Could you do that in Halo? Sure. You'll get a Killing Frenzy. Wooo? As opposed to the main point of MW2: getting your Harrier so you can get your AC130/Chopper Gunner. The whole point has turned from playing the game and having fun into getting these ridiculous streaks that noobs ADORE because it gives them a "rush" and a point to the game.
He's still hammered, he never went to sleep. I'm not sure what system they could use to fix it but I do agree with the idea of taking out nukes. The idea that you could be winning a game and lose just because one guy gets 25 kills straight is ridiculous.
Nuke should be disabled in MM Worked fine in MW1. 7 kills was easily obtainable, so people wouldn't be sad enough to sit and hide to get a chopper.
yeah, well i hate how the other team almost constantly has a UAV in COD4. they have to work out the new system. maybe most of the good killstreaks are only obtainable in care packages? that would be an interesting choice. but they wont change it now.
Nukes haven't realy been the problem for me, it's the boosting fags that get them and beat me all the time on Free For All. I think the porblem is mostly the tactical insertions. Not many people I know actually use them, so I don't see why they're there. Then again, all I play is Free fro all or mercenary deathmatch.
1. Demoliton 2. ACR or Scar or similar gun 3. aa-12 w/ grip 4. tac insert. 5 ??? 6. Profit... I plant/defuse sooooooooo many bombs with this class. I can't even begin to tell you, you wont miss that grenade(specially w/ a noob tube )
I'm not surprised. I would have went down to Encino with a bunch of bouncer-types politely informing them of the issues with MW2, but I don't have the money to pay the guys to come down with me.
You do realise that they have nothing to do with your supposed issues with MW2? Right? As for that news: Gaming is turning into such a business that it's no wonder a huge amount of games get released unfinished or with features cut out or anything of the sort. Publishers should have next to nothing to say about releasing games.
