Are you any busier now with workload or whatever else? I ask because I've become far busier with Sixth Form and the work/exams that come with that and so have found less time to play games. So, when I do get time to play games for whatever reason, I find that I'm not enjoying them that much. The reason for this is really that I load up the games in order to relax and have a bit of fun yet if I play online some games just annoy me due to some of the stupid things that happen (I don't mind dying but being point and clicked to death every few seconds with no chance to do anything it rather annoying over time). I've found that I enjoy it more if I'm just playing with friends or just playing single-player games. In general I've gone off multiplayed a lot and prefer to play single player (lack of money to buy any new games confounds this off course). To be honest you'll find you interest into something changes all the time over life. One minute you like something a lot and the next your not its biggest fan. Just play games they you enjoy and if your not getting that much enjoyment out of games then leave playing them for a while and come back later.
I haven't touched a console since before christmas, mainly due to the fact I've got better things to do nowadays. I think you're probably growing up and maturing a bit? Saying that, i'm moving into a new place this summer and my soon-to-be housemates have a wii, a xbox and two ps3s so that might change.
Mr.Gaga is better that Metallica!?!? This blasphemy will not stand! Many a-flavor-of-the-month garbage pop act has tried, and many have failed. Next!
I also havent been playing nearly as much as I used to. I hate it, but I still set a few hours a week to play. Just kinda miss the golden days of TGIF or just getting my friends together and playing.
In more ways than one. Agreed. I haven't played with any of my FH friends in forever. The fact that I haven't had an H3 disk coupled with the fact that I have been dedicating my gaming time to other games means I have been a recluse. I fail.
I took a 3 month break from live then I bought some new games that keep me busy now like Saboteur which is a very fun game and has a great stroy. Im just burning time untill Halo Reach.
I'm going through the same thing. I no longer want to commit any time to games when it's a school day. On the weekend though when I pick up the controller I put it down for the day 2 hours later. I guess it's because I get the most enjoyment playing with friends, most of which are either not on anymore or moved onto PS3 which I might get too hut save the 360 for Reach. TBH I think this is a good thing. Games have always caused me poor grades and now that I lost the urge, my grades have bin the highest this year which is great because I want to play football next year which is senior year and I'll be starting (Bout time too, guess coach hates me for my low grade and crude language.).
For some reason games actually improve my grades. I think they're stress reducing. An hour a day keeps the grades away.
Not gaming is seriously affecting my grades. I have no interest in games but it seems likes this also dragged down my interest in doing any work..... MY LIFE IS GETTING SCREWED OVER.
I think you may enjoy some DLC, I've tapped into that recently from the lack of games I wanted to buy. I want Dante's inferno, but 60$ for 12 hours of a game, no thank you.
Dantes Inferno looks disappointing. Go and buy the book. You'll find far more entertainment value, especially remembering that is the source from which the Catholic church developed the concept of Hell.
Dante's is worth a rental, and fyi the game is only loosely based on the book. And by loosely I mean that there is a guy named Dante in both the game and the book.
**** YES I AM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its all back. I'm playing non stop BF:BC2 I have FF13 to play and a subscription to Aion and WoW. I can't stop playing and i have this giant rotation between these games. IDK what happened it just all came back. IM SO HAPPY!
Ya know, you could burn yourself out by playing nonstop and could be why you originally lost interest.
