    Northern Lights

    Im a big fan of modded maps and I wanted to create a legitimate map that utilized some of these cool effects. I had been experimenting with the smoke on Blackout and I wanted a map with an open roof so you can see the Aurora Borealis in the sky. I had to use a budget glitched canvas to do everything I wanted. I used Stairs as Walls, Walls as Doors, Doors as Stairs, Bridges as Windows and Boxes for everything else to give this structure a really different look and feel.

    Then I played my first Conquest game on the map Cellars and the gameplay was amazing. This gametype really inspired me so I deleted everything and rebuilt directly around the column of smoke with the middle territory of Conquest in mind.
    Im sure my map is breaking a couple Conquest rules but its not done yet- Ive just finally got a half decent version put together.

    Im looking for some good honest reviews from a couple testers familiar with Conquest so I can bring the best out of this map and hopefully achieve a similar gameplay. If your interested send me a message.

    I have a Flamethrower mod I used when taking some screenshots because I couldnt resist the pun of "Hot Box" on "Northern Lights"

    I think the smoke is a genius idea and I'm glad you turned it into a Conquest map! If you are unsure on some of the rules for Conquest maps, check out this guide. I'd be happy to test your map as well. Very cool

    That's brilliant. A lot of people use effects to try to mess with the visibility in maps but that never works out well. I've seen people use the lights on Sandbox before; I'm surprised no one had thought of this. Looks great, can't wait for the release.

    That is a pretty great idea, and I love that its for conquest. It really gives that feeling of a dramatic scene where opposing teams fight through the smokey essence. I want to DL to get a better feeling of it, but my xbox isn't working, so for now I'll just let my mind wonder.

    I had this kind of idea a long time ago, but i was too lazy to do anything with it, Im glad to see someone else was thinking the same way and decided to go through with it... looks good, probly could use colorcoding to make it more evident what side youre on. (not saying its necesary, it just helps noobs to conquest that much more)
