Well, I should have roughly$700 to spend on an I-Product on Friday. Which one should I get? Here what I like.
    1. I-Touch
    2. I-Phone
    3. I-Pad

I want one with a 32 gig storage space, or a 64 gig. So, heres what I plan to do.
    1. Go on the internet
    2. Watch movies
    3. listen to music
    4. play aps
    5. Jail Break it
    6. Use it basicaly everywhere

I have a few things I want out of it as well.
    • Mobility
    • Battery Life
    • Customizability
    • Versatility
    • Overall use

So, just toss me some links or advise. I'll be happy to let you know what I get. Thanks in advance Forgehub.

    - Do you have Wifi at home?
    - Do you travel around a lot - go out through the day a lot, or stop at home
    - Would you want access to internet when out and about (looking things up/maps/facebook)

Ask those, and if you find your out a lot, then i'd go for the iPhone 3g on an unlimited wed and text contrast, they are really good now. I have an iPod touch and iPhone, and if its just for at home, the wifi setup is identical, it just depends if you want to have emails / texts / phone / 3g all rolled into it too.

I've got wifi, travel a lot, but I am almost always near a wifi connection. I also do not have a good phone plan(No internet, 200 texts a month)

If you can access the Wifi's then maybe go for the iPod touch. There are text and email setups through the internet, so if your desperate you always have it when you need it. I used my iPod touch a lot before i got an iPhone and i did find quite a lot if Wifi spots, although many of mine are passworded (shopping centers, restaurants etc). I did get by with the touch, but i'm loving the iPhone for the text, email and internet simplicity.

If you need a phone or want a music player, then do not get the iPad - go for the iPhone or iTouch. If you want a more computer based product with internet browsing and the like, then go for the iPad.

But, the iPad is literally a bigger and more powerful iTouch. The only thing the iPad has that the iTouch doesn't, is the size and book library. I'd recommend the iTouch for now as I'm sure something better then the iPad (like a full-blown touch screen lap-top) is coming in the future. Don't get the iPad confused with a Lap-Top; Its a big iTouch, not a touch screen lap-top.

I know its a large I-Touch. I just liked how it worked. Right now I am leaning to a 32 gig or 64 gig I-Touch. 32 gig 3rd gen most likely.

I wouldn't spend the extra money on the 64GB if you don't absolutely need it. I've got the 1st generation 8GB iTouch and I couldn't be more happy with it. Of course if I was a big movie watcher, or had more then 200 songs then i would need something bigger.

I have short of 10000 songs on iTunes that i try to keep as ordered and categorized as possible, because i'm listening to music maybe 10-15 hours a day, and am using it for parties and having people round etc. I have quite a few films which i used to put on my iPods, but now i don't bother. Seriously you will never truly need the amount of space that they offer. My iPod touch was 16gig and i had like 3000 songs on, and now going to my 8gig iPhone i had to narrow that down extensively. I still find it fine though, i just have the music i want on my iPhone checked, and then when i want to put something on, i can just take something else off. It's absolutely no hassle, even if it sounds like it is. 32 gig is enough space totally.

Well, I have the Ipod Touch, and I must say, I'm very pleased with it. Out of the three, especially with Wi-Fi, it is your best bet. The IPad is basically just a more updated, however far more bulky version of the Touch. And I recommend not getting the Iphone, AT&T sucks..a lot.

If you aren't sure on what to get, maybe you shouldn't limit yourself to i-Products.

I would personally recomend the iPhone. All the benefits of a touch combined with internet practically all the time. Plus at 32gigs it's the largest phone available. Plus you have GPS and a Compass which is probably my most used feature. Along with other iphone specific perks.

However, that's assuming you can afford 90 dollars a month for the phone bill (less if you have more people 150/2 190/3 etc).

Other than that get the iPod touch. Chances are the first gen of iPads are going to have one or 2 issues and then in a few years when you can afford it get a new iPad when the technology has really advanced.

You can get all that on a Nokia 5800 XPresMusic and it's ALOT cheaper.

Except for the 32 gigs, a nokia 5800 is only 9 gigs =(

Nokia 5800 can have apps, has a similar App Store (Ovi-Store) but it's nowhere near as good, iProduct apps are 10x better (and 10x more expensive)

The app store has some of the cheapest apps of any distribution model, what the hell are you talking about.

A 1.99-2.99 app would cost 4.99-9.99 on any other system since the sheer number of users on the iPhone OS allows them to sell millions more units and make far more profit even at the lower price point.

Quit being so anti-apple and realize that the iPhone OS is by far the best available for a wide assortment of reasons.

Every ovi app I've seen is under 1.99.

And I said, that some Apple apps are 10x better and 10x more expensive, it's true.

You have no idea what you're talking about. 95% of all app store apps are .99 or free and the "High quality" ones are at most 4.99. You have no basis for comparison and are instead making baseless accusations. Find ONE app that's 10x more expensive on the iPhone and I'll give you a cookie.
