Author: Dirt Jockey Map Download:Download Map Preferred Gametype:Download Gametype Recommended Gametype: Slayer/Oddball/King of the Hill Players: 2-4 Inside you will find yourself in an environment that is reminiscent of early first-person-shooter games- in that your playing field is completely lateral. Gameplay: Spoiler You start the game on a small ledge with an Overshield, a Shotgun and a Teleporter directly in front of you. After going through the Teleporter, you are directed to the entrance of a previously unplayable area that forces you to crouch to gain access. Watch your back because your opponents are right behind you. Inside you will find a Firebomb Grenade and several Bubble Shields and Regenerators throughout this maze to promote close combat. At the end of this network of crates you will find another Teleporter that takes you directly outside to a perch that overlooks the whole arena. Here you will find a Flare and a Flamethrower perfect for nuking your enemies inside. Be careful though as this perch hosts several fusion coils making your new found vantage point more of a death trap. Jumping down below you will find 4 more Teleporters, each one taking you to one of the 4 original starting spots so you can flank your opponents or just merely clean up any campers. The Custom Gametype "Tunnelvision" was made specifically for this map. Control of the hill grants you 300% speed and 1 point per second. In addition to this you can also increase your score with kills making gamplay furious. Ah awesome reminds me some old school games well I've always thought of having a map where yours is but I never did it I love the idea of it very original
Ha this does look pretty awesome. I like the little arrow for the entrance because i know it took some time to get it nice looking. I also like the places you made items and stuff. Pretty cool stuffs...
It's hard to drastically manipulate the gameplay of pre-dlc maps. But i'd say you've done a very good job here making use of a generally non playable area. very nice.
