Imagine a Spartan-II with a more advanced Mark-VII power armour. Now picture that as stealthy and producable as a Spartan-III. How win sauce would that be for the UNSC to fight against the covenant with. Anyway, just an idea I thought up. Discuss...
Considering the war is over, they have no reason to create even more IIs or IIIs let alone try and create a new set of Spartans. By the way, roman numeral for 4 is IV.
Spartans were created for special ops. This was mainly against insurrectionists. According to the halo wiki, the core idea dated back to the 22nd century. It's much more likely a Spartan IV would be based around mass production over power. They would be alot like Spartan IIIs (Elitely Trained, slightly enhanced, slightly better equipment), but slightly better and cheaper.
The Spartan I and II programs were created for special operations/black ops against insurrectionists and other rebels. The II program was re-purposed against the Covenant when they appeared. The III program was created in desperation with the Covenant in mind, but being cheaper and more expendable than the II program. I'm gonna sound a little nerdy, but realistic now. With the war over, why the need for more Spartans? The ones they already have are more than qualified for peace-keeping duties and defense against rebels, and then there are the ODSTs, so why spend money on a bunch of super soldiers when you can be spending it on rebuilding schools and restoring planets.
I don't think that production will start immediately, but I can definitely see the UNSC trying to create Spartan IVs in the future after they've repopulated and rebuilt
Yeah that'd be a while, i mean theirs ins't a resistance anymore, the covenant glassed all the rim worlds that were giving the UNSC trouble.
Just because the war is over, does NOT mean we should be defenseless. If you want peace, you must prepare for war.... Besides, Military machines always like to make new toys, even when they don't need them
