    This map will be made in the sky bubble. It will be constructed into the "ceiling" of the sky bubble to help prevent escaping the map.

    All I have so far are some design drawings for you guys to look at. I will be getting a sketch-up version done after some criticism from you guys. This is pretty much just the bare bones of the structure, but hopefully you can get an idea of how it works.

    Notes to help you picture this:
    Blue dashes mean the ramp continues to another level
    Red arrows always point in the "up" direction of the ramp.
    Red lines are where the ramp begins or ends

    The "infinity road" will be sloped near the edges to let the player know they are creeping towards death (as seen in the "front view"). The two main doors on the 1st floor are going to be plenty large to fit a warthog/ghost through, although one door will have merged wall halves to limit vehicle movement. There will be a man cannon from the 1st to the 3rd floor.

    The 2nd floor catwalks will also be wide enough to fit atleast one warthog. The ramp pop-out in the front of the bases will have one long window. There is a 2nd entrance to the man cannon shoot from the 2nd floor.

    The 3rd floor catwalk will be narrow and treacherous with no railings (except maybe near the ends of the catwalk). There will be a shoot from the 3rd to the 1st floor. This shoot will also act to block lines of sight in the 2nd floor.

    I dig it man. It's a cool layout idea.

    I think it might require more objects than possible on forge. If I have time I'll throw together something in sketchup.

    Mb, but not quite i really like the look of this. And i happen to know that you can make a very very big stacked map and that could work for this.

    Do you know there's a Rocket Race map by Cheerful Dub by the same name? I'm just letting you know in case you didn't cuz I always prefer to use names that haven't been used before.

    Someones a RE5 fan :)

    Anyway, it looks nice, but I worry about object limit. You run out fast on a enclosed map, and this is in the sky bubble. Just beware

    On the 3rd floor, where do the arrows in each base lead? The diagram shows it going up, is that correct?

    Also the dimensions of the 2nd floor don't really work with double walls. The size you have speced in your drawing is close to a half block width which makes it difficult to fit.

    Oh yess, the search button. I will invest the time to do that next time. I think I will change the name to Uroboros. It means the same thing just an alternative spelling.

    I'm guessing RE5 is Resident Evil 5, and I actually only played the demo, so any similarity is just a coincidence. I did, however, get inspired from a screen shot of a map from halo pc called infinity. I just glanced at this screen shot for a moment, and this idea came to me. I'm not even sure what the actual layout for that map is.

    And MickRaider is putting a sketch-up version for me, so I can see what is possible with this idea.

    -The 3rd floor has two parts the level near man cannon entrance and the catwalk is the 3rd floor then the other half (where the ramp shows going up and where the flag is) is a 3rd 1/2 floor.

    -You can use which ever piece works best for the 2nd floor. These are all just concept drawings. Whatever works best is what I will end up using.

    I just threw that in there to drive it around. I do stuff like that to take breaks from forging.

    It was kinda fun though. If it works maybe I'll throw it in the map at the end, or at least I'll throw in a couple mongooses.

    Wow, I'm impressed. That layout is nice and original - though I worry about spawns, I guess you have to play the game to see those ;)

    Send me an invite sometime to play this, guy :)

    I was refering to the name; Oroboros. It was the the name of the most bad-ass infected bad guy in the game. I liked that game. :) And yes. Resident Evil 5.

    Also Id like to say I like the progress, and nice nercrobump :)
