I am working on an infection map that needs humans to receive custom power-ups to drive around but i don't want the zombies to use the power-ups. Both the humans and zombies can walk around in the map. Is there a way to do this in the gametype options or do any of you have any recommendations to do this? Please help?
do you want the humans to always be able to drive vehicles? because if so, i belive you can set the zombie traits to not be able to drive.
Isnt true that if you set the zombie traits to vehicle use none, no matter what happens the zombies wont be able to use vehicles? It is impossible to though stop the the zombies from actually taking the CP, but it is definitely possible to stop the zombies from getting any effect from the CP.
I had the settings for zombies with weapon pickup: NONE and vehicle use: NONE. The zombies still can pickup the power-up and drive. Humans can only drive with the custom power-up sooooo they kinda need to be the only ones to pick it up. The custom power-up is like a gas can
The only thing i can think is to create elevated niches and place the CPs in them and then set the gravity for the zombies so they can't reach it.
Its probably going to have to be an honor rule because I cant think of a way to stop the zombies from collecting and receiving CP traits. The only other way would be to make it so the zombies physically cannot reach the powerup.
If you dont really want to change the traits of either humans or zombies with what you have, you may want to take a look at Equipment Elevators. YouTube- How to make an elevator on Halo 3 Using one of these will allow humans to gain access, but not zombies as they cant pick equipment up to activate the elevator.
