    1. It's come to my attention that Halo font + beveled text is a popular formula around here recently. It has come to my opinion and artistic/design sense that it should never be seen again. (Try something like Century New Gothic, or maybe even start with Arial.)

    2. Relatively okay background. Tis abstract, which works, although you may want to not to use that brush/shape, as it is a bit LQ/aliased.

    3. Sun Spots/Flares/lens flares usually are a no no in good sigs, although there are of course many exceptions. (Hint: this is not one of them) Also, be sure to have the border on top of all the layers, as it looks weird when it's not, IMO.

    4. Color. Not bad, all in all.

    5. Focal point. Never, ever, make the focal harder to see. It is a focal for a reason. Right now, it looks like the sun spot on the right is the focal, because the spartan is so... trippy... Try to define the focal, and have everything leading up to it, instead of just floating around it.

    6. Personally, I have never liked pop-out sigs, even the really good ones. Although this is just my opinion, I'd suggest you stay away from those until you get a bit better at cutting things out. It defeats the purpose of popout when the thing that's popping out gets cut off.

    7. Bevel. As I inferred in the beginning, Bevel is never good on text in sigs. Ever.

    8. Lighting. The lightsource on the render contradicts the lightsource on the rest of the sig. Never good.

All that being said, don't take this hard or seriously, as I'm finicky and can be harsh. (So I've been told)

Good luck with your sig making.
