Today I'd like to show you a map I'm working on. I don't think anything like this has really been done before. It's a small, fairly straightforward skybubble style map. Whats unique about that? It's built beneath Blackout. The map was actually my friend Burning Thunder's idea but he got the idea while playing my Blackout racetrack which was my idea so yeah... Anyways, he also did some work on the central platform so some credit is definately due. The map is almost finished but I need some feedback; filters or no filters (the screenshots are without if anyone couldn't tell) any other suggestions are welcome as well. Goddamit, Im doing the same thing. Cept this is better. *Discards project* well this looks really good, hope you keep it updated and finish it.
Woah, I had ideas a while back for something like this. Anyway, this looks pretty good although it looks as though it could be kinda small. Keep up the good work.
Sorry ROFLninja. I'd be interested to see your map too though. Ace: if that's possibly possible Ill possibly do it Crypto: yeah it is definately small but with all the walkways it's a bit bigger than it looks. The map is designed for 2 to 6 players.
I agree with Krazy. Blackout already has a darkened icy feel. From your screenys I can feel the oil rig thing going on.
I wish you had color-coded the boxes. It would look SO much nicer. Other than that, it's looking good so far. And for railings, barricades seem like they would work pretty well.
Don't worry, Ive added several railings. I don't even know how to color code boxes. The map is almost done, should be up for testing soon.
This could be a really nice 1v1 2v2 map....and i like how you did it on blackout....a change of scenery always good. Yes color coded would be nice.......and it looks like you got plenty of bridges and barricades for rails so use them.
There is actually a thread about coloring the boxes. Although small the map looks really nice, but i think it may be escapable.
Well... its too late for that now. Don't worry, the map is built far enough below Blackout that it should be 100% inescapable
