In your opinion, Who are the Top 10 bands or artists that you think are most likely to be inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame? 1. Oasis 2. Nirvana 3. Muse 4. Incubus 5. Paramore 6. Pearl Jam 7. The All-American Rejects 8. Modest Mouse 9. Owl City 10. "Weird Al" Yankovic
I don't even listen to rock, and the only rock and roll band I see there is Pearl Jam. The bands you mentioned are more Pop related.
Your a douche bag on several counts; -Oasis is trash -Owl City is Synth / Electronica, and trash -Muse was good 3 years ago, and may be good in 3 years time -Jimi Hendrix, ACDC, The Rolling Stones, Stereophonics, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin. -THE ****ING BEATLES
AAR - No. Just, no. Owl City - Never gonna happen. Like, no chance. Ever. Weird Al - He writes annoying parodies that some 7 year olds sing for about a week before they're too annoying for even them.
LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAPH! YouTube- Nickelback Reinterpreted - the Bloomington Bros. cover "Photograph."
Hey cool, someone posted their own idea (sarcastic or not). This is not a tear apart his choices guys, it's a who do you think. Comment on his if you like, but at least provide some likely alternatives yourself.
nickelback is so good YouTube- this is how you remind me of someday EDIT: sorry chrst, you snuck that in there. Further edit (curse being loyal and having to set the example): no but seriously, -The White Stripes I have to agree with -Nirvana (noobish suggestion but they should have been there a while ago for changing the face of music) -Modest Mouse -Muse ...aaannnnd nobody else in current music is even remotely close to being considered for hall of fame as much as i like them. I have to HEAVILY HEAVILY HEAVILY, potentially more than i've disagreed ever before with Owl City... what the ****? The Postal Service >>>>> over owl city regarding that done-before style which isn't even rock n' roll. ****, owl city. good, but extreme disagree. YouTube- the postal service - such great heights High Rez YouTube- The Postal Service "Nothing Better"
Nickeback is about as entertaining as spinning a coin on a table. Which in turn is quite entertaining.
Yeah, the only plausible suggestion so far is nirvana. I was at V-festival last summer when oasis performed their last ever gig and it was nothing special. Btw, the bands/artists don't have to be a rock band/artist, their induction is due to the contribution they've made to music generally. Anyone think Nick Drake should be inducted? I certainly do.
Should be noted Ringo Starr is the only member of the Beatles not to be in the Hall of Fame. Not sure what's up with that; admittedly his solo career was nothing special, but nonetheless I think even being a part of the Beatles warrants induction.
