I tried to maintain depth and flow, while defining a focal. So tell me what i did and didn't do.

focal isn't defined as to where you want it.

i am looking at the guy's left shoulder whenever i look at the sig. the way the c4d works and everything puts it there as opposed to the ball. try creating the sig around the ball and hand, and don't worry about making sure the viewer knows what is going on.

now there are some things you need to work on; c4d usage, depth, and text are the main ones.

First: c4d usage. the one you chose could work if used right, but the way it is placed on there makes it look like.. some ectoplasmic goo dripping off his hand and some random stuff on the left. Try finding one that flows like that, but isnt so.. liney. get one that has more mass to it. Also, to make that one work, you could put the layer mode on lighten or screen so that it isnt so prominent, because right now, it draws way too much from the image.

Next: Depth.. the basketball hoop itself is a fairly good depth, but it is too blurred to be that close. Next you have the matter of the guy's body and hand. half his hand is blurred.. whats up with that? the hand should be the most blurred, and the shirt not as much. the shoulder and head you have sharpened, but if they aren't the main point of the image you want the viewer to be looking at, they shouldn't be so sharp, maybe even barely blurred. i wouldnt suggest that though.

and finally, text. you blended it well with the BG which is good, but the font looks kind of big and awkward. placement is not bad, but find one that flows better like the flow you are trying to create in the rest of the sig. Look at the I for example.. it has the two hashes across top and bottom, making it quite blocky for an I... a flowy, scripty font would do better for this, as the word "flying" is generally associated with freedom and grace.

    Damn.

In addition to what KK said, if you want to get better, then listen to our feedback. I gave you quite a number of it in your last sig and you did not seem to apply it much probably except for my statement on text placement.
