ill have to ask given about it, but it seems like it could be done as part of the lobby floor. Ive decided that it will have five "floors" but those floors will be more like sections of the buildimg accessable by one of the checkpoint tele's for zombies. so the lobby will have one teleporter but have as many as 3 actual levels in it. Im working on a sketchup for the map so you guys can see what i have in mind.
Eh tele access only? For zombies only or everyone? Either way I'm not liking how that sounds really. I know with resources its possible to build five floors nicely too, with access by stairs. But maybe resources aren't why you're saying that, its probably the tele checkpoint system thing you have been talking about. But anyway, you know what you have in mind and I don't, so take my opinion with some skepticism. I'm sure you have a solid concept in mind.
Ok, just so you guys are clear... the zombies spawn in a small/medium room with five senders on one wall, they send you in order from the top of the building descending downward all the way down till the lobby, so the far left tele = top, far right tele = lobby. now all of the receiver nodes are in places normally inaccessable by any means other than the sender, therfore allowing for "checkpoints" so with the sections i mentioned earlier, the teleporter will be the one in closest proximity to those areas, but you can still go to an earlier or later one and move towards as an ambush.
If you've ever played Manifest (Help's on the way Right?) you know what he's talking about with the teleporters. Each teleporter takes you to a certain distance in the map respective to the order of the sender nodes from left to right.
That wouldn't work. Someone wouldn't throw it right, and the whole thing would get jacked up. The idea of an elevator is to get it as real as possible, and the grav lift wouldn't work. Lets Review. The gravlift wouldn't get thrown right all the time. The elevator floor would look bad as four different length blocks that have an angled top. Grav lift would look bad because you would see it. Finally, the thing wouldn't stop where you want it too unless you had teleporters bracing the stopping point, which also would look bad. Not to mention the grav lift would stay on top of the blocks pushing you into the ceiling trapping you from leaving the elevator. (assuming it goes up.) It's been a while since I looked aat this project, and I want to get all my current projects out before reach comes out. Since I don't have an xbox at the time being, I won't be able to work on any project for a couple weeks. Maybe a week (Depends on if I scam Target for a new xbox or not.) I'm also going to California on the 8th. That will last about a week. So at the time being, I'm tied up. I wanna start working on this again Chaos, and I think it could be really fun. I'll hopefully get to Target and back sometime this week before I go, but who knows. I wanna see what you got planned out, (sketch up wise?) I love this map btw
lol that explains your absence from xbox lately, anyways I'm not sure how to work sketchup, i think i need help... and to not type with a wireless keyboard in the dark, it pisses me off typing and seeing half the letters missing.
