A Bridge 2 Far

    The Story: This lonely bridge in the middle of this isolate desert has proven itself a bloody prize. For years its been a push and pull situation between the UNSC and Covenant. The UNSC was slowly inching its way towards victory when all of a sudden Covenant reinforcements pumbled the bridge. The bridge was at the brink of collapse and the UNSC attemted to retreat into the tunnel and blow up the bridge but the tunnel caved in. The Marine Engineers manage to blow a portion of the bridge, causing most of the Covenant Force to either retreat or fall to their doom. Now its your time to shine. Either hold the bridge till your last breathe or Crush the defenders into nothing but dust.

    Well its been a long time of forging and I can say that Im just about wrapping it up. Now, I need help deciding on gametypes for this map. Its set to infection, territories, assault one bomb, and vip at the moment, but Im not sure how it will play out. Here are some pics

    If you fall off the bridge, the only way to get back on is through this teleporter by the hole to the crypt. It takes to about the center of the bridge. Im considering moving it far away from the bridge because it would affect gameplay.

    Thats cool. I really like the bridge but as you said, I'm not sure how well its gonna play. I guess thats for testing to decide.

    I dont really know to be honest. I think pumble is like hitting continuously, inflicting damage or pushing down upon to cause damge. something like that

    The teleporter up is kinda annoying, might have worked better if it was constructed in the skybubble. But still looks awesome dude. Send me an invite for any testing you may have.

    I think the word you're looking for is "pummel".

    Anyway, the map looks really good, but I'm not sure about the amount of weapons.

    Well at least thats resolved, but dont worry about the weapons because I was planning on taking a few of them away. The ones there right now have long respawns or dont respawn at all

    The one question I have about it (and it's not looking that way to me).

    If you fall off the bridge, is there a way back on?

    *edit* Ok, I see the pics of the teleporters now. To be honest, the idea of "teleporting" back up isn't a thrill to me.

    I know but its the best I could do. I rather do something better but object limit is very cruel

    That crashed pelican is awesome, you should make an asset game on the top of the building in ODST where you have to hold out until the cheiftan shows up... You would make that map amazing!!!

    EDITS:
    • Moved teleporter that was below bridge far away to less affect gameplay
    • Put in Covenant Weapons by Wraith
    • Moved a few barriers
    • Changed respawn times for weapons
    • Put teleporter for Attackers in Phantom because they wouldnt make it onto the bridge if I didnt put in teleporter

    Did you use an OLN canvas? Other than that it looks fun & unique. The skybubble might have worked out better. Why did you choose the main level? I will have to play this when you are ready for testing.

    No I did not use a canvas. Thanks for the compliments. I chose the main level because a bridge in the skybubble didnt appeal to me. I wanted it to be seen as a real bridge in the middle of nowhere. I also wanted to be a little original. If Im correct, there was a bridge done in the skybubble after the ONI Bridge in ODST by Redneck? (correct me if Im wrong) Thats where I got the bridge idea, too. Once i finish the gametypes Ill throw you an invite

    This bridge looks amazing, but my one concern is that people will just jump off of the bridge at the start, run through the teleporter unnoticed, and then pop back in halfway through the bridge, unscathed.

    I know. At this very moment, I have my entire staff and all of my generals trying to solve this problem. I will deal with the teleporter

    why not get rid of those kill balls and make it so if you fall off you can just go up that hill and then use the money from the kill balls to build a ramp up the other side?

    What kind of surprised me was that you didn't make this in the Skybubble, given that the highway is on supports (and thus doesn't really use the ground level) to behind with--this would eliminate the need for a teleporter, and you could probably just make the bridge in an arc shape, humans starting at the beginning of one side close to the death barrier--you could have the highway going down into the highway a little bit or something, but be primarily blocked off by UNSC barriers (similar to those giant ones in ODST) to indicate you aren't supposed to go back there.
