Although LMS dun get much attention here due to the limited number of members that care, and or know about it, im still posting this for help.

im still in the experimentation phase for the way we present maps and i would like to hear any idea for the way that we organize/present maps.

for episode 3 there will yet again be a different approach to the presentation. not to mention we got a new image for last man standing courtesy of

    Awesome huh?

    i thought so.

now tell me your thoughts NAOW

    ---Basic idea for episode 3---

the next thing im trying was suggested by Zak, and what were going to do is SHORTEN (massively) the interview portion, which Ive wanted to do, but forgers will be forgers and go ON and ON and ON about their map (which i have done before as well) were going to shorten it to about 2-3 minuets and have a video of smooth, scenic pans through the maps. basically removing any unnecessary noise during the talking. then have a short footage of game play, with some simple background music. (as in relatively quiet music)

im am awaiting more maps to be sent in before i start to look at them, so tell yer buds about sending in maps for episode 3.[IMG]

Don't record your voice while recording their voice.

    wh...why woul-.... WHAT?

what kind of adivce is that?

if youve watched it or saw anything that ive written about what i want to do you would see that we do interviews with the map makers, why would i not record my voice while i record thiers? that makes no sense to me.

Record your voice, and then use that recording to completely do your voice over again a second time. Makes it cleaner.

It would be even cleaner if both you and the person you are interviewing recorded your lines seperatley. However, this is far from ideal in a situation where you are interviewing someone over xbox live as you will most likely lose a sense of conversation along the way if you each say your lines seperately (say you e-mailed them a list of questions to record answers to) as the other person doesn't really feel the interaction (if that makes any sense). Probably for this reason, Bloo Jay recommended that only you (the interviewer) recorded your voice seperately (ie not over xbox live) as your voice doesn't need to have that conversational aspect if you are just asking questions.
