Bungie's "Create a Halo: Reach Emblem" contest

Did it for the lawls and if I would enter i'd change it all up and make it so that it does work out.

 

Just wanna say that this one is fantastic. Great job with this.. I hope it makes it.

As for those who did the monitor reticle and the spartan head, I don't think those will make the cut, because Bungie was pretty adamant about it being original work, and not copying anything.. those are pretty blatant rips of well-established images (mostly the monitor reticle).

I have a couple ideas (at least 2) that I'll be entering. I've already begun working on one. I really like my ideas and know that they would work well, so I have high hopes. Im gonna keep them to myself though until I submit them though

Thats pretty much what I would go for, however I have a bad habit in adding to much detail and then its not up to standards anymore

yeh man, im not exactly a professional in the field, but I will be someday. I have an AA in CGD, so I suppose I have some minor credentials. I can just see yours actually in the game. It just looks like it fits.

 

You do realize what this emblem will be used for if it did ever make it...obviously not a record because little kids are to immature. Lol

I can see it already, itll be the new favorite emblem for perverted little 10 year olds. lol Actually Kb, if you added a shine to the record with either removing the colors there or just using the red, I think it may be saved from that fate.

good idea lights, thats why i used those ugly sunglasses as a placeholder if you saw them before i put my elite hand in... by chance are your two ideas a guitar and a drumset? I'm aching to see one of those in halo reach and i thought of them after I already entered my hand in, I would make a second a account to enter a guitar but they would just have to send whatever to my house anyways if i won, and if i won with both then i'd be messed over. (i'd also mess myself from having both entries win)

so, if you arent doing a guitar or drumset I beg anyone that doesnt have an idea to do one.

1. This whole thread is about discussing designs to submit as emblems to use in Reach. It's a contest started bu Bungie. We already know it.

2. No offense to you, but I would like proof that your friend actually "work at bungie."

I like the elite helmet and all, but I don't think i'd instantly recognise it as an elite helmet. Maybe try and make it more...apparant. I'd also love to see the secondary emblem part, too.
