    Silent Knight

This map is inspired by the Batman: Arkham Asylum DLC 'Hothouse Prey'. Silent Knight won't be the name of the map it will be of the gametype but I haven't decided on the map's name yet. Anyway it's going to be set up to play a new gametype that mimics that of the predator challenges in Arkham Asylum.

For those of you unfamiliar with the game these challenges put you, Batman, in an enclosed area with several of the Joker's henchmen. They are armed with guns meaning the direct approach is suicide, so you have to use stealth and cunning to take them all out.

In my game the rest of your party will play as Joker's henchmen and one of you as the batman. Batman can use the equipment scattered about, trip mines, flares and grav lifts to succeed as well as a few secret routes through ventilation shafts and the floor. Assassinations are obviously a one hit kill, making them the most attractive option but it will be possible, although tough, to beat down the henchmen directly. You'll be equipped with a plasma pistol to take down the henchmen's shields (kind of like how the batarang knocks a henchman down) and all enemies will have a marker above their head to allow you to track their movements.

I decided to get rid of the old pics because there were too many. The map is finished now, although it may go through slight changes after testing sessions. I've found that this is great for a small party, I've experienced a few brilliant 1v1 sessions on it. If you were looking forward to this being for a larger party I'm in the process of making another, larger, map so don't worry.

There have been issues with spawning that I'm trying to solve, so that may delay the release but if I can get it sorted out then I only need to do another couple of testing sessions.

Any thoughts on the map, or suggestions how it could be improved (although I've reached the budget and object limit so making changes is a hard thing to do)?

If this game is successful I'll definitely be making a map pack, maybe each map styled after one of the original batman ones. thanks for the feedback

When I test this I can reserve you a spot if you'd like, not sure when that'll be though.

I haven't personally played Arkham Asylum, but this looks like a work of art.
I can't speak for gameplay yet, but from reading your discription it seems like you have it pretty figured out.
If at all possible I would set this up for multiple gametypes, but it is designed for this one specifically so if you don't get around to it it's no big deal.

    New pics again.

The ladders work by grav lifts under the floor.

Due to reaching the budget and object limit I'm not able to set this up for multiple gametypes, but the gametype it does play works really well.
