Never really tried my hand at an actual sig from a stock so heres mah first one, Here was the stock I used. Spoiler I don't really have a use for this sig so if anyone wants it tell me you want it and I'll make you one with your name on it (Say the name you want on it) Thoughts?
ooh embossed lettering, very nice! so are you looking for advice for improving? first off, way to stick to a colour scheme.. i love green and obviously you used green.. my main problem with the sig though is it doesnt really blend in with the background so much as it could.. maybe have some splatters over her or something? still for a first time its great, you have an eye for art i believe.
Embossed lettering is one of the hardest things to perfect to the point of usability and repeatability within photoshop. I've been using photoshop for 4 and 1/2 years and after all that I still have trouble coming up with new variation of embossed text that looks good. I basically use around 5 different emboss styles that I located on the internet. Embossed lettering should never be used in signatures. It hardly ever works and when it does, and it does so very well, it still is less preferable to a non-embossed text. If you want nice typography within a signature your best bet is to make sure the text isn't the top layer and to work with a wide array of complementary and contrast colors for the text. Overall if you're looking to make Kesha grungy, she's already done so herself so it isn't too terrible of a feat to accomplish. I do like what you've done with the splatter fade but I wish it was more layered, complex, and urging to be seen rather than placed in front of the face. The grunge, in the broadest sense, is too clean. How can that be? You have concise, well defined layers of brushes and splatters which conflicts with the grungy attitude or direction that the signature tries to take the viewer. The ideas are there, the execution isn't sloppy but it isn't something to take tremendous notice of. I won't comment on the proposed color scheme as I'm sure I've stepped on one too many toes as it is. As always, IMO.
Is there any way to make the girl less ugly or take away her crack ***** qualities. It's cool if don't, that is if you like crack.
If the world was going to end because I agreed with you, then so be it. Sometimes the truth must be stated. The colors match, but not with the render. I won't go into anything complicated since you probably don't get the full concept of flow, depth, and etc till later on.
