Mythic DLC Poof Cannon V2

The video is very interesting, but you still require pictures. It's part of the forum rules. I'm assuming you know how to embed photos, since you "don't post pictures anymore." Here's the link, just incase.

In this situation, I wouldn't say the Forging is bad: it just lacks aesthetics. A map like this is meant to be simple, strictly practical, and lawl-producing.

My only suggestion is that you might want to angle the box with the fusion coils inside forward, maybe at a 45 degree angle. That would allow for greater distances to be achieved, not just height. A name change might be good, too. 'Poof Cannon' just sounds a bit... unprofessional.

 

Cool map, simple and just for the Lols. I'd like to download it but the download link goes to Halo-hub, and I don't see a link anywhere.

 

I like this, it isn't really a map but its just several different and interesting concepts that could all be worked into maps as tricks, traps, or strategies. I am definitely interested in the possibilities these clever contraptions could have and how they could be used on a legit map. I look forward to seeing people put these ideas into their maps.

 

the rules say pics OR video, no need for both, and since when is forging trap maps serious business.

From what i saw in the video the map is astounding especially your inescapable door, the box being activated by switched and grenade is a nice touch. I hope you create a v3 of this map.

 

Not professional? I don't know, I don't think an awesome cannon that shoots Ghosts is supposed to be professional. Like the map, it's supposed to be epic lolz. : )

You need to make a link to Bungie.net. Go to the Poof Cannon slot on your File share on Bungie.net, copy the Address, then paste on the post.

 

Thats a pretty cool cannon, but seriously, you need to link to Bungie.net. People aren't going to sign up on some website just to download your map. You can add another link if you want. But if you don't link to bungie, your download count will remain at 0. And is that website meant to be a copy of Forge hub except a little less specific in what it includes. Because I looked around and it looks a lot like Forge Hub, but whether or not it is a copy of Forge-Hub you can't link a map Download to it. That's like forced advertising. I think....

honestly? You made a site, then came here and you expect us to join your site to download a fancy mancannon with fusion coils? Take down that link and link to bungie. Making a map is not a way to advertise your site, just put the link in your sig.

A bit off topic: You need to change the font size or something on your site, you should never have to scroll side to side unless you click to enlarge an image or something of that sort.

edit: oh my ****ing god. You're front page. you copy/pasted the site update, word for word, and changed names. What the hell? I don't care if you were busy, if you can't do anything but copy this website, you should NOT have made your site. I'm not against making another Halo site, but don't copy Forgehub 100%, try to be original.

About the map, its basic been done. But still a fun thing to goof in forge with some friends for hours. I enjoy these things, I do however, have something just like this.

 

Even tho this map does nothing much for me i like it. A huge cannon that shots almost anything 30 metres into the air, although this has been done plenty of times before some which are better some which are not, your map has improvment to be done.

With the cannon try to aim it a like a target in the sky an shoot it with mongooses

Seriously, I can't believe this crap. I added the link to your map directly to Bungie like it should be and I better see at least one picture of your map in the original post within a couple days, because it is directly stated in the map posting rules, that you must have at least one picture. There is no I don't want to excuse, if you don't really want to, your thread will be locked.

If I ever see this again where your download link is to your site and not linked directly to Bungie.net, you will regret doing it again.

 

What if people don't want to go to all the trouble of making an account, and finding the post, and downloading it there? If you're making downloading this map so difficult, people won't download it. For example, I would've downloaded it, but downloading it is to complicated, so I just made my own Poof Cannon.

Oh, and thanks to Sarge's Ghosts for the link, now I have two Poof Cannons.
