Sandbox Tunnel V4

    Tunnel V4

    I'm not sure how many people have played on the Foundry Built map Called Tunnel V1, V2.11 or V.2.7 by Kevinxl, but this a remake of his foundry version on Sandbox, but with 2 Tunnels this time.

    In each base there is:
    1 Sniper Rifle
    1 Shotgun
    6 Battle Rifles

    1 Bubble Shield

    1 Mongoose

    And at the Middle of the map is:
    1 Spartan Laser
    2 Plasma Grenades

    This map is designed For Multi Flag and can be a lot more fun if you edit the settings and change both weapons to Random. It Requires Team Work to successfully take the flag from their base back to yours when they can see you from their base the entire time. Bubble shields need to be employed tactically to defend your Flag Carrier as you run back to base.

    Beware that with the mongoose if you get off it to close to the walls off the tunnels you may pop up out side the map. This is completely useless employed as a weapon to attack the opposing team, and there is no way back in again if you do get out. So do not try to.

    Seems cool, I like the idea that you're always visseble for the enemy team, and you'll have to use bubble shields and tactical teamwork. I'll download en try. =D

    kewl map, keep on forging! hey can you get on the roof? cuz if you can I think you should make it possible cuz then it would add a whole new element of game play if you added open windows on the 2nd level

    An open roof sort of deteriorates from the whole enclosed idea with only the tunnels as access routes to the opposing base. But I may make a Version 5 with this idea involved. Thanks for the post!

    can you not get on a mongoose left next to the wall in their base once you're outside? that'd be a way around it surely?
    also the map looks good but very basic, i know the idea is you can never hide but surely with random weapons, one team gets lucky, 2 snipers, other team are mildly screwed...

    You weren't meant to tell them that! But if you forget where you left it, it disappears, is destroyed or taken by someone else then your stuck. And whether your team gets good weapons is what makes it so fun! And with people dying so much they usually don't keep their weapons for long. XD

    Mm. interesting idea. Only 1 bubble sheild though? methinks there should be 2 since theres 2 tunnels, makes sense if you want to launch an attack covering both huh? The whole "i can see the other team all the time" is kinda stupid and would leave a lot of people frustrated in my opinion. I have play tested it but just knowing from past experiecnes you should deffinatly give some extra cover in the tunnels. Sure you have a mongoose. But you have 3-5 people on your team. someone is BOUND to get at least a splazer or some kind of vehicle killing weapon. Thus destroying your fastest way to get to the center of the map.

    Points:
    -Make the tunnel section of the map bigger and with more cover, people will not die as much
    -I do see it would take some good teamwork to get to the middle but in my opinion it would be too repetitive, oh quick deploy the bubble sheild, oh dam hes in the bubble sheild cant shoot him, oh we gotta get to the middle oh wait i got sniped, etc etc

    Looks fun, i always love games of chance.
    If you dont have this, you should make the flag return almost instantly so the team doesnt keep touching the flag to keep it there.
    Maybe you could put a wall merged into the tunnel for a little cover.

    Now we are really diverging from Kevinxl's map. A second bubble shield, maybe. I may reduce the spawn time on the original. If you want to see Kevin's map the link is at the top. He didn't have any cover in the tunnels but me and my friends really liked how it played. But then again, most of my friends are rubbish at sniping, so constant death wasn't really a problem. It sounds like if I make a V5 is it will be a whole new map. Maybe thats a good thing...

    EDIT: WHY IS NO ONE ELSE POSTING ON MY MAP?!?!

    EDIT 2: This is what I HATE about Forgehub. You post a map and after it has been bumped off the front page by newer maps your one gets absolutely NO attention.
