Well, my friend who doesn't want them gave me $60 in iTunes giftcards, I need some new music. Any recommendations? I mainly like Alternative, but am up for anything atm.

Here are some good albums that came out within the past year or so, that I particularly like and they fall in the Rock/Alternative genres.

Kings of Leon; Only By The Night
    Rise Against; Appeal To Reason
    Creed; Full Circle
Breaking Benjamin; Dear Agony; Phobia; We Are Not Alone
    Shinedown; Sound of Madness
Three Days Grace; Life Starts Now
    Trapt; Only Through The Pain

Already a big fan of Rise Against and Three Days Grace, thus I have those albums, but I'll look into the other ones also.

I don't know if you're into New Age, but if you are, then search Ryan Farish.

He incorporates a bit of World into his style, and I personally think that it's awesome. He even has a Christmas album.

    Interpol: Antics
    Cake: Fashion Nugget
    Atmosphere: Lucy Ford
    Franz Ferdinand: Franz Ferdinand
    Rage Against The Machines: Renegades
    The Postal Service: Give Up
    Lynyrd Skynyrd: (Pronounced 'Leh-'Nérd 'Skin-'Nérd)
    Jack Johnson: In Between Dreams
    Incubus: Light Grenades
    Blaqk Audio: Cex Cells
Flogging Molly: Within a Mile of Home
    The Beatles: The Beatles 1
    Bloc Party: Flux Remixes

Those just a few albums and artists from my small 6000 song library on winamp. Which is growing at a few gigs of qaulity music a day. If you would like some more let me know. Everything from old school rap to techno, rock to The Beatles.

Hope you like those. I am addicted to all those albums, especially lucy Ford. It was the album I listened to the most. I listened to it as the only album I listened to for a Month. Inspirational and Touching.

Breaking Benjamin "Dear Agony" was a very disappointing cd after the first three songs are done.

    Radiohead - In Rainbows
The Streets - Original Pirate Material
Kings of Leon - Only By The Night

No one has mentioned Red? Awesome awesome band. I recommend the songs "Death of Me", "Already Over", "Pieces", and "Breathe Into Me".

I also want to add Skillet to the list 8). Look for the songs "Hero", and "Monster".
