The staff in all of our graphic talents have been arguing over which of our banners (most of which were made in MS Paint and use the custom font "Times New Roman") are the best for the TGIF article. Seeing as this fight has been going on for weeks with no resolute we came to the conclusion that we should just ask you guys to make us one. It'll will probably be almost as good as ours and hopefully there will be less fighting to choose a winner. So anyway, the contest: -Make a banner for the Bi-Weekly TGIF article. -Banner just needs to have something that resembles or related to TGIF -Try to stay close to typical banner size. -You guys have two weeks to complete your banners (Jan 13th) -The Winner will be announced on Jan 16th in the site update. -Winner will receive a Custom Title, combined with the even better prize of making a banner for your beloved site and besting the staff. I beg to differ? Maybe he just added text and a helmet to his, but I added coloration, three different renders, smoke, bullet holes, a bit of lighting, text (which I admit is horrible, i can't download texts) and edited the computer screen. I don't see what you mean.
I know, you certainly did more work than he did, and it's creative. I just don't like how much there seems to be a reliance on the stock, that's all.
You underestimate the cluelessness of our fellow friend here. He apparently doesn't know that none of our banners are truly "made". Or what sarcasm is.
I know what sarcasm is, thank you. Putting text on a picture you found online is not "making" that picture. It's ripping. And stop spamming in this thread, Frag Man. All of my posts have addressed the banners. Yours didn't.
It's actually quite good, I like the cartoony style. If there was still rep, I'd + you. Maybe I'll get it re-installed so I can do that. And in my partial sarcasm I actually do like the style even though this was a joke. With some more work it could be cool.
I have never laughed so hard in my entire life. You come in this here bar, totin' your peashooter, commenting on every banner (in a submission thread) like your opinion matters and being a general ass, and you have the ballsack to acuse another of spamming? Yeah go for it..and discuss all you want lol. As long as there isn't seven thousand posts I'll be sorting through picking out the banners. So just keep it at 6999 guys.
I'm pretty sure I'm infracted when needed. Unless you'd like to agree with me on my opinion on the mods. Eh? As for banners, you really need to let it go. You give out criticism like a royal. King Henry royal if I might add. Banners can be made using other's resources, but only if they aren't made for money. THEN it's wrong. I'm sure a royal like would know that. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with it.
